NXT TV taping spoilers: Fallout from TakeOver New Orleans

Dark match --

- Lio Rush (w/ Babatunde Aiyegbusi) defeated Chico Adams

Rush won with a frog splash after a distraction from Babatunde.

NXT TV tapings --

- Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae opened the show, thanking everyone for their support after TakeOver: New Orleans. LeRae is facing Zelina Vega later tonight and Gargano said he's next in line to challenge for Aleister Black's NXT Championship.

- Ricochet defeated Fabian Aichner

Ricochet hit a 630 to win his Full Sail TV debut.

- War Raiders (Hanson & Rowe) defeated The Metro Brothers

Hanson and Rowe used Fallout (a huge leg drop off the top onto a held opponent) to win this.

- Lars Sullivan defeated Killian Dain in a no DQ match

They brawled outside early. Sullivan threw Dain into the ring steps to take advantage, and chairs and tables were used in the match.

- Candice LeRae (w/ Johnny Gargano) defeated Zelina Vega (w/ Andrade "Cien" Almas)

LeRae won a quick, fun match as she and Gargano applied stereo Gargano Escapes. Black then accepted Gargano's challenge for a future title match.

- An in-ring promo by the Undisputed Era was next. Roderick Strong said he made the greatest decision of his life at TakeOver, then Adam Cole said he would defend his North American title against Oney Lorcan with nobody in his corner because he doesn't need it.

- NXT North American Champion Adam Cole defeated Oney Lorcan to retain his title

Cole faking an injury led to Undisputed Era jumping Lorcan behind the referee's back. Cole scored the pin, then Danny Burch tried to even the odds but was taken care of as well.

- Heavy Machinery defeated Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss

To finally end their team, Sabbatelli dropped off the apron when Moss needed a tag . Heavy Machinery hit their strongest slam to win and then called out the War Raiders for a future match

- Kairi Sane defeated Shazza McKenzie

Sane's flying elbow ended this one. Lacey Evans made her way out to the ring, faked that she was offering an apology, and left Sane laying with a cheap shot.

- TM61 defeated The Street Profits

TM61 stole the win by using their feet on the ropes for leverage. The Street Profits were upset about the finish.

- Kona Reeves defeated an enhancement talent

- Bianca Belair defeated Candice LeRae

Belair dominated with power and won with a reverse powerbomb.

- Pete Dunne defeated Roderick Strong by DQ

The rest of Undisputed Era were at ringside with Strong. At the end of a good match, they jumped in to cause the disqualification when Dunne hit the Bitter End.

A brawl ensued after that, with Lorcan and Burch saving Dunne and sending Undisputed Era packing.

- Ricochet was cutting an in-ring promo when he was interrupted by Velveteen Dream, which resulted in them doing some good back and forth on the mic. Velveteen Dream said anything Ricochet could do, he could do better.

- EC3 defeated Raul Mendoza

This was a decisive victory for EC3.

- Dakota Kai defeated Vanessa Borne

Kai hit a backcracker destroyer to win it. Following the match, Shayna Baszler showed up to scare Kai and destroy Borne.

- Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano's NXT Championship match didn't happen

Tommaso Ciampa destroyed Gargano on the announce tables and backstage. He stood tall on top of the ring truck as Gargano did a stretcher job.

- War Raiders defeated Heavy Machinery

They had a major hoss match, which ended when the War Raiders hit Fallout.

- Tommaso Ciampa defeated Kassius Ohno

A fight. Ohno was defending Gargano's honor and was extra intense here, including removing his elbow pad to try and work over Ciampa's eye.

Ciampa finally took control after attacking Ohno's eye and hitting a knee to the back of the head. He used his knee brace to choke Ohno after the match as the crowd let him have it.

- An Aleister Black promo in the ring was interrupted by SAnitY, leading to Eric Young challenging for Black's title.

- NXT Champion Aleister Black defeated Eric Young (w/ Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain) to retain his title

This match got plenty of time and Young worked Black over. Black finally fired up, winning with the Black Mass to send everyone home happy.
