Subject: Patterson

Vince McMahon made his way to the ring. People stood up and reacted to him huge.

He said Pat grew up as a poor kid in Montreal. Went to Boston without knowing a word of English and he became one of the biggest superstars of all time. He put over his work ethic, his passion and his loyalty.

He said that many had respect for Patterson such as Bret Hart, Mad Dog Vachon and Andre the Giant.

"WWE would not be the success it is today without Pat Patterson."

He announced him as a "member of my family".

Pat came to the ring crying and hugging Vince. He got a "Thank you Pat" chant.

They showed a video homage that they showed earlier tonight during one of the commercials. On it, you can hear (not see) Pat signing "My way"

Right after the video, Bret's music hit.

He said that Pat was one of the greatest minds in the business and that he helped him so much. He said he was a real friend and a real hero to him.

He uncovered a Montreal Canadiens jersey, with Patterson in the back and the number 1. Patterson put it on.

They showed the other video they had already shown earlier tonight. (The two videos are the same from 2012)

The Authority's music hit. Triple H came out with pretty much all the roster including the ones whom we didn't see tonight. They stayed on the stage as Hunter went to the ring.

Hunter said that Pat should be canonized as a saint for working with Vince every day for so many years!

He told he story where Pat needed to take some time off from Vince so he went to the bathroom and he hears someone enter the stall next to him. And then Vince's voice saying "You have your book Pat? Open in up!"

He then said that Pat was family for him too.

He then gave him a plaque with the IC belt and four pictures on it (very nice) and said they went to Rio de Janeiro to get it!

He then said that Pat sang at his wedding and asked him to do it live. So he sang "My way".

He got a big ovation. Said "Merci beaucoup" and "I love you, I love you, I love you!" And got a "Merci Pat" chant.

No Patterson t-shirt this time around, like there was in 2012.
