Last night's SmackDown, the first WWE show in front of a full-capacity crowd in more than 16 months, averaged 2.185 million viewers in the fast national ratings. That's an increase of 16.2 percent from the previous week.

The show opened by averaging 2.221 million viewers for the first hour. It then dropped just over three percent in the second hour to 2.148 million viewers.

This is the highest overnight viewership for SmackDown since January 29, which was the go-home show for the Royal Rumble.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a 0.6 rating, up 33.3 percent from last week. That matches several other weeks as the highest overnight rating SmackDown has done since drawing a 0.65 in November 2020.

Year-over-year, SmackDown was up 15.4 percent from this week in 2020. In the 18-49 demo, the show had an increase of 33.3 percent from last year's overnight rating.
