The fast national ratings for last night's SmackDown saw the show average 1.997 million viewers on Fox, down four percent from last week's overnight number.

The audience was steady throughout, with the episode averaging 2.001 million viewers in the first hour and dropping very slightly to 1.992 million in hour two.

As it usually does, Fox finished last among the major networks in total viewership, Every other channel averaged over 2.9 million viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown tied several other shows for third place behind ABC's Shark Tank and CBS' Blue Bloods. SmackDown's rating in 18-49 was a 0.5, down 9.1 percent from last week's overnight rating.

In 18-34, SmackDown drew the same 0.3 overnight rating it has for the last seven weeks and, in fact, every week in 2021 except for one. That was tied with four other shows for second on the networks behind Shark Tank.

As compared to the overnight numbers from one year ago this week, SmackDown was down 8.9 percent in overall viewership. The show was also down 16.7 percent in the 18-49 demo and down 25 percent in 18-34.
