WWE SmackDown ratings down slightly for final Extreme Rules build

On the last Friday night without sports competition, overnight viewership for SmackDown on Fox dropped 0.6 percent, averaging 1.893 million viewers for last night's Extreme Rules go-home show.

It was SmackDown's second lowest number on Fox since debuting in October -- but with Major League Baseball starting back up on Thursday of next week and hockey and basketball coming soon after, it's possible the numbers will fall lower.

FOX finished last for the night among the major networks with only NBC's The Wall coming within 500,000 viewers of SmackDown.

SmackDown averaged a 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 10 percent from last week. SmackDown tied an episode of Dateline NBC in that category but beat everything else on the networks.

In the 18-34 demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.2 rating, which tied several other shows for first on network TV. That's the same rating SmackDown had each of the last two weeks.

Here's a look at the last 10 weeks of overnight viewership totals and key demo numbers for SmackDown:
