WWE SmackDown ratings down slightly from last week

Overnight ratings for Friday Night SmackDown on FOX saw the show drop three percent from last week in overall viewers.

Last night's episode averaged 2.482 million viewers. It averaged 2.521 million viewers in hour one, with the show then dropping three percent in the second hour to 2.442 million viewers, a normal drop for SmackDown.

In the 18-34 demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.45 rating, identical to last week. That was good for first place among all network television on the night. 

In 18-49, the show averaged a 0.7 rating, tying the block of CBS dramas for the lead spot on network television. That was down 6.7 percent from last week. 

In total viewers, SmackDown finished behind everything on the networks except for ABC's 20/20. 

An appearance by Hulk Hogan was advertised for SmackDown. He was on the show via satellite and hyped up the Bray Wyatt/Goldberg match at Super ShowDown, then the segment was interrupted by Wyatt's Firefly Funhouse.

Bayley vs. Carmella for the SmackDown Women's Championship, Roman Reigns and a partner vs. The Miz & John Morrison, and Otis and Mandy Rose's Valentine's Day date were also advertised for the show.
