WWE SmackDown ratings down slightly this week

SmackDown ratings were down three percent this week, with the show averaging 2.088 million viewers on Tuesday night. That tied the August 6 episode for the lowest number this month.

The show retained the usual 83 percent of Raw's audience. Year-over-year, SmackDown was down 11 percent from the same week in 2018.

SmackDown topped the 18-49 demo on cable with a 0.64 rating, over 40 percent higher than Real Housewives of the OC. The rating also beat everything SmackDown went head-to-head with on network television except for Bachelor in Paradise and America's Got Talent.

Third place on cable in that key demo was the season finale of Miz and Mrs., which did a 0.38 rating and a total audience of 1.094 million viewers, the highest number since May 14 for that show.

SmackDown finished seventh on cable in terms of total viewers, trailing news-related shows on FOX News and CNN.
