Show Report --

Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston made their entrance but were jumped by 2.0 and Daniel Garcia from behind. Matt Lee grabbed a mic and taunted Darby Allin and Sting before calling for their match to start right now.

The lights went out and Sting and Darby made their entrance. When Darby's music played, he attacked 2.0 from behind with his skateboard.

Texas Tornado Tag: Sting & Darby Allin defeated 2.0 (Matt Lee & Jeff Parker) (w/ Daniel Garcia)

They immediately brawled out into the crowd. Garcia assisted 2.0, effectively making it a three on two match. 2.0 hit their finisher, 2 for the Show, on Darby into a concrete overhang out on the concourse. They dragged Sting back towards the ring, but Allin balanced on a railing and dove on 2.0 and Garcia.

Kingston appeared and took out Garcia to even the odds. Darby and Sting produced a table but 2.0 stopped them from setting it up in the ring. They suplexed Darby onto his own skateboard on the ramp. Sting fought off both of 2.0 in the ring and went for ten punches in the corner, but Parker cut him off. They turned it into a double powerbomb through a table, but Sting no-sold it and stood right back up.

Darby dropkicked them both into perfect Scorpion Death Drop position, and Sting hit it before locking them both on a simultaneous Scorpion Deathlock for the double submission.

Earlier today as they were taping Dark/Elevation, Sammy Guevara proposed to his girlfriend, and she said yes.

The camera cut to a promo from Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard. Spears said he'd let Guevara's now-fiancée be an honorary member of the Pinnacle for one night.

Sammy Guevara defeated Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard)

Spears attacked during Guevara's entrance but Guevara was ready for him. He hit a really nice flip dive off the ramp to the ringside area. Guevara beat Spears down at ringside until he was sent into the ring steps, then Tully gave Spears the assist on the stuff piledriver.

The match finally started and Spears and Tully went for the piledriver again, but Tully was ejected. Spears continued to beat down Guevara and taunted his fiancée, but Guevara came back with an enziguiri. Spears avoided the double springboard moonsault and they traded chops into a commercial.

During the break, Spears set up one of the barricades between the ring and the security railing on the outside. They both sprung to the top rope, Spears flipped him off, and Guevara hit a top-rope cutter for a good near fall. Spears countered a top-rope hurricanrana into an avalanche C4 for another near fall.

Guevara escaped another C4 attempt on the apron and sent Spears through the propped-up barricade with a Death Valley driver to the floor. He then climbed the ropes and hit the 630 senton, but Spears shockingly kicked out.

In the center of the ring, Guevara pulled down his knee pad and hit repeated knees to the face. He then hit the GTH on Spears for the win.

– After the match, Guevara and his fiancée kissed.

Christian Cage was with Tony Schiavone. He was immediately interrupted by Don Callis, who gave Christian his first break 25 years ago. He patronizingly congratulated Christian on his win and opportunity, saying Omega would win anyway. Christian said he's in Omega's head now, and Omega is terrified he's going to take the AEW World Championship before calling Callis a "carny piece of sh*t."

A video package recapped Dante Martin's performance in the big six-man tag match last week. He said he took Omega to the absolute limit. He's going to keep rising up the ranks.

Dan Lambert, flanked by Junior Dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski, was in the ring with Tony Schiavone. He felt like he had been silenced and called millennials "soft" and "triggered." He said Dos Santos and Arlovski are ready for a fight. "AEW is not the answer to your professional wrestling prayers."

He said AEW has a roster full of wanna-be tough guys who can't wrestle. These fans are only here because it's the only good part of their lives.

Lance Archer interrupted but was attacked from behind by Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page, the Men of the Year.

Chris Jericho was backstage. He's overcome all this adversity because tonight he wins the prize. He may not be able to use the Judas Effect, but he's got 5,000 fans in attendance who will sing him to the ring. Tonight, Jericho finally gets his revenge. "Jericho up, and My Jerk-off Friend down."

Don Callis joined commentary for this match.

AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) (w/ The Good Brothers & Brandon Cutler) defeated Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/ Marko Stunt)

This was fantastic.

Nick taunted Jungle Boy with some acrobatics early on until Jungle Boy took him out with a pescado. Jungle Boy hit his springboard armdrag and a lariat before tagging in Luchasaurus. Matt tagged in but was immediately taken down with a chop. Luchasaurus caught a crossbody and turned it into a powerslam for two.

Jungle Boy tagged back in. The Bucks tried to overwhelm him with numbers, but Jungle Boy hit a hurricanrana off the apron to the floor. Matt took out Jungle Boy with a running dropkick before landing a corner dive on Luchasaurus out on the floor. The Bucks mainained control throughout a break.

Upon return, Jungle Boy hit his rebound lariat and reached Luchaasaurus for the hot tag. Luchasaurus fought off both Bucks but ate a corner knee before escaping the follow-up bulldog and hitting a double clothesline. Nick fought out of the chokeslam and hit a gamenguiri, but Luchasaurus crotched him over the ropes. Jungle Boy hit a huge superplex off Luchasaurus's shoulders for a near fall.

Brandon Cutler tried to interfere, but Luchasaurus had it scouted. Luchasaurus hit the Tail Whip, a cyclone kick, and a double chokeslam on both Bucks before an assisted cutter got a great near fall as Jungle Boy ran interference with a tope suicida.

The Young Bucks countered Jurassic Express's finisher and hit a double superkick on Jungle Boy. They hit an Indytaker on Jungle Boy for a great near fall. Marko Stunt tried to fire up Jungle Boy, but Kenny Omega whacked him with a chair. Distractions were about to allow the Young Bucks to use the chair to win, but Christian ran out and fought Omega to the back.

Jungle Boy hit a brainbuster on the chair, but Nick broke up the pin at the last second. Jurassic Express hit Thorassic Express, their finisher, but Nick broke it up at the last second again. Jungle Boy fought off all the corner men before Luchasaurus hit a moonsault on the pile. Nick pushed Matt out of a backslide and the Bucks immediately turned it into the BTE Trigger for the win.

– After the match, the Elite beat down Jurassic Express and Christian. Callis got a stomp in for good measure before Omega hit the One Winged Angel on Christian.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Rebel were with Schiavone backstage. Baker brought out the recently returned Jamie Hayter. Hayter said she and Baker go way back. "Ask Red Velvet and Kris Statlander what it's like at the end of my boots." She dared Velvet to face her next week. Baker said gold isn't Velvet's color, and they'll have some fun in Milwaukee next week.

A video package recapped the Matt Hardy and Orange Cassidy feud. Hardy said he wasn't trying to pick on Wheeler YUTA, he's an equal opportunity ass-kicker. If Orange continues to stick his nose in Hardy's business, he'll break it off his face. Orange said "let's find out."

Paul Wight was brought to the ring by Schiavone. Schiavone thanked Wight for coming to his aid last week, and Wight said it was amazing to be back in the ring. He has a huge announcement, but QT Marshall, flanked by Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow, interrupted with "Houston, we have a problem."

QT said here in AEW, we don't get the fans excited just to let them down. Wight wasn't having it. QT said there's a reason Wight was hired as an announcer and not a wrestler. He put an X-ray on the screen along with photos of Wight's big scar on his hip.

Wight fired up and said he wasn't embarrassed and that QT doesn't know anything. He talked with Tony Khan last week and will face QT at All Out.

Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling cut a promo. Sterling was impressed by Kiera Hogan on Dark, so Cargill will face Hogan on Rampage. Cargill said it was fun to see how Miro treated Fuego Del Sol last week, and that's what will happen to Hogan on Friday.

The Elite were backstage with Schiavone. Schiavone said Tony Khan's had enough, and there will be a Tag Team Eliminator tournament, with the winner facing off with the Young Bucks at All Out in a steel cage.

Taz and HOOK introduced Ricky Starks for his entrance. Starks said to bring out Brian Cage to talk, but the camera cut backstage to Powerhouse Hobbs standing over Cage. Cage and Hobbs continued to fight as Team Taz headed backstage.

Death Triangle were backstage with Schiavone. The Lucha Bros will be in the AEW Tag Team Eliminator tournament and PAC will face Andrade El Idolo at All Out. All Out will be in the same arena where PAC beat Kenny Omega on two weeks' notice. Andrade and Chavo walked up, and Andrade said PAC needed to agree to their conditions, which was a giant ream of paper. Chavo said that even if the Lucha Bros win the tournament, they will never be champions as long as they work for PAC.

Thunder Rosa defeated Penelope Ford

These two are both ranked in the top 5 of the women's division. Rosa hit a shotgun dropkick and attacked Ford in the corner. She dropkicked Ford to the floor, but Ford pushed her into the ring post and hit a cutter on the floor ahead of a commercial.

Once back, Rosa hit a corner clothesline and double knees followed by a running dropkick. A butterfly suplex from Rosa got two. She went for the Fire Thunder Driver, but Ford countered and went for the Muta Lock. Ford turned it into a pinning predicament, but Rosa kicked out and locked on a single leg crab, forcing Ford to reach the ropes.

Rosa spun around and hit a Death Valley driver for two. Ford got the Muta Lock once again, but Rosa fought out and locked on a modified sleeper for the submission.

Arn and Brock Anderson were backstage with Schiavone. Arn said he was emotional. When Malakai Black appeared, he turned their world upside down. Now, Brock has a match with Black next week. Arn warned Brock that he'd hurt him. Brock said "with all due respect, I'm not asking."

A Miro video promo played. He does not forgive Fuego Del Sol for accepting something he felt entitled to. He serves God every day and his hot wife every night. "Eddie Kingston: The Redeemer wants to talk."

Jon Moxley was backstage. He's been thinking about everyone coming to AEW. He then ran down all the top stars like the Elite, Hangman Page, and Christian Cage. Moxley's the guy who carried the company through uncertain times. He said it's about time to send a message about the food chain in AEW. He will main event Rampage against Daniel Garcia, but Garcia should ask if this is what he really wants, because this "ain't no joke."

Jericho came out with no music, but of course, the audience sang it anyway. That was awesome.

MJF defeated Chris Jericho

Jericho cannot use the Judas Effect. He took MJF down at the start and hit his signature springboard dropkick followed by a plancha to the floor. MJF sent Jericho into the barricade and grabbed the ringside camera, taunting Jericho. The camera panned to Jerihco, however, and Jericho punched it, planting MJF on his back.

In the ring, MJF attacked Jericho's arm to regain control ahead of a commercial. Jericho came back with a clothesline upon return. Right hands and shoulder tackles took MJF off his feet before Jericho landed a double sledge off the top.

MJF once again resumed the attack on Jericho's arm. Jericho took him down with a cross chop before a Lionsault followed for a near fall. He kept up the offense with ten corner clotheslines before bringing MJF to the top rope. He landed ten punches and a top-rope hurricanrana for two.

Once MJF kicked out, he immediately locked on the Salt of the Earth armbar. After a long fight, Jericho rolled through and applied the Walls. MJF countered it quickly and hit an up kick to break the hold. They traded punches in the center of the ring before MJF was able to snap Jericho's arm over the rope. The Heat Seeker followed for two.

MJF hit a low blow where the official couldn't see it and locked on a Liontamer. Jericho dug in and crawled to the ropes. MJF tried to grab the Dynamite Diamond Ring but the official saw it. Jericho hit MJF with Floyd the Bat but hesitated on the Judas Effect. MJF hit a Judas Effect and locked on the Salt of the Earth. Jericho made one attempt at a cradle to break it, but MJF kept it locked on and forced Jericho to tap.
