Matt Cardona returns on TNA Impact, crashes wedding

Matt Cardona returned to TNA on Thursday’s Impact to crash the PCO-Steph De Lander wedding.

Cardona, who has been sidelined since April after suffering a torn pectoral and subsequent surgery to repair the injury, interjected in the PCO-Steph De Lander wedding on Thursday’s Impact.

De Lander and Cardona had been aligned in Impact storylines earlier this year after both returned to the company at a March Impact taping. Both wrestled for TNA/Impact Wrestling in 2023.

Cardona attacked PCO with a cinder block in the wedding crasher angle, setting up a future Cardona vs. PCO contest.

Cardona suffered the pectoral injury in a match against Kenny King at a Reality of Wrestling event in April. The former WWE star also made a surprise appearance for AEW earlier this year in answering an open challenge from then-TNT Champion Adam Copeland on the March 30 Collision episode.
