Moose tweets goodbye to ROH, pulls out of August indie date

It appears that Moose’s eventual destination may be getting a bit more clear.

Virginia-based NOVA Pro Wrestling announced on Twitter Friday that the free agent (real name Quinn Ojinnaka) was pulling out of their August 12th show due to a contract commitment. That coincides with the fact that TNA will begin its August TV tapings on that day.

It is not confirmed that Ojinnaka has signed with TNA, but they did make the best financial offer.

There has been a lot of speculation about where the former football journeyman would end up.

At one point he seemed destined to start at the WWE Performance Center in September, but WWE backed off due to a domestic violence allegation in 2009 that led to Ojinnaka being suspended from the NFL.

Major League Wrestling announced on their Twitter account Tuesday morning that Ojinnaka had signed with TNA, but Moose refuted the report and said that though he has received an offer from TNA, nothing has been signed.

After Friday night’s Ring of Honor house show in Baltimore, Ojinnaka posted a goodbye to the promotion on his Twitter account.
