New champions crowned on TNA Impact
There are new Knockouts Tag Team Champions in TNA following Thursday’s Impact episode.
Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay of The IInspiration defeated M by Elegance and Heather by Elegance on Impact to win the Knockouts Tag titles for the second time in their career.
The IInspiration thwarted an interference attempt from The Personal Concierge as Heather accidentally threw champagne in M’s eyes, allowing Lee to score the pin on Heather in the Impact main event.
Lee and McKay previously held the Knockouts Tag titles in 2021 and 2022, winning them at Bound for Glory in 2021, then dropping them at Sacrifice in 2022.
The duo made their return to TNA earlier this year following a three-year hiatus from the promotion, and have also been featured on recent WWE NXT episodes as part of the NXT vs. TNA storyline.
Thursday’s Impact was taped last Saturday, September 27.
