New cryptic teaser airs during WWE Raw

A new cryptic teaser aired during Raw last night, further hinting that it’s leading to Edge’s return to WWE television.

The teaser was a follow-up to the original video that first aired during Money in the Bank earlier this month. That mysterious video contained references to past Edge opponents including Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, The Hardys, and The Dudley Boyz. This one continued that theme, referencing Mick Foley, John Cena, and Randy Orton.

Foley’s flannel shirt, Cena’s “You Can’t See Me” hat, and an Orton RKO shirt were shown in the video.

Edge hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since the June 6 episode of Raw. The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and new member Finn Balor) turned against Edge that night, kicking their leader out of the faction. The Judgment Day’s attack on Edge included putting him through the announce table and giving him a con-chair-to.

WWE announced a storyline injury update after the attack, claiming that Edge had suffered a “non-displaced orbital floor fracture.”
