WWE SmackDown live results: Money in the Bank go-home show

Six of the women's Money in the Bank participants will face off in a tag match.

Tonight's SmackDown takes place from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and features the final build to Money in the Bank.

Six of the seven participants in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match will be involved in a tag team match tonight. Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans & Shotzi of SmackDown will team up against Raw's Asuka, Alexa Bliss & Liv Morgan.

Becky Lynch is the only women's Money in the Bank participant who isn't involved in the six-woman tag.

Saturday's men's Money in the Bank ladder match is set to feature Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Omos, Sami Zayn, Riddle, and one more wrestler to be determined. WWE has advertised that there will be a "Money in the Bank cavalcade" tonight.

Plus, New Day's Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods will take on The Viking Raiders. Erik & Ivar made their return to SmackDown last week by laying out Kingston, Woods, Shanky, and Jinder Mahal.

Money In The Bank Segment 

SmackDown started with Drew McIntyre, Riddle, Seth Rollins, Sheamus, and Sami Zayn in the ring on ladders. MVP and Omos were standing in the ring. 

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were standing at ringside and briefly discussed the participants in the ladder match.

Seth Rollins finally started speaking. McIntyre and Riddle don't want Rollins to speak for McIntyre. Rollins noted they all agree the winner should cash in against the winner of Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Rollins mentioned cashing in on them before. Riddle hopes Reigns wins so he can cash in on him. 

Zayn interrupted. He claimed he would win the ladder match and sit on the contract for a year. MVP mocked the rest for forgetting about Omos. He promised Omos would win and cash in on Lesnar or Reigns. 

Sheamus said he won the ladder match before and cashed in on Reigns. McIntyre mentioned that he beat Lesnar for the title before.

Suddenly, The Miz's music hit, and he walked down the aisle. He pointed out that he cashed in on McIntyre, and he's the only two-time winner. The Miz believes he deserves to be in the match tomorrow night. 

Ezekiel interrupted next. He pointed out that he was supposed to have a qualifying match with Kevin Owens. He thinks he should be in the match too.

Next came Happy Corbin wanting in the MITB ladder match. Madcap Moss came out, and he wants the last spot as well. Finally, Adam Pearce came out and said he could feel the aggression in the ring. He ordered the crew to clear the ladders and announced a battle royal next. 

Happy Corbin Won The Good Old Fashioned Battle Royal (15:20)

Participants: Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Seth Rollins, Riddle, Sami Zayn, Omos, Ezekiel, Happy Corbin, The Miz, and Madcap Moss

This was a good battle royal and opening match. Omos dominated the early part of the battle royal. It picked up towards the end when it came down to the final five. 

On commentary, Cole mentioned that Kevin Owens was supposed to be in a qualifying match, but he's injured. Cole and McAfee kept calling it a "good old-fashioned battle royal." 

Everyone fought for the first few minutes without an elimination. Omos then dumped Ezekiel for the first elimination. He followed up by throwing out Moss and then The Miz. 

Riddle attacked Omos, but he got beat down. McIntyre and Omos faced off in the middle of the ring. They traded shots. Omos took over, but McIntyre fought back. Omos then rocked McIntyre with a headbutt. 

Omos continued to dominate and faced off with everyone. Rollins and Omos went face-to-face. Rollins then waved goodbye at Omos and eliminated himself. Rollins laughed at Omos at ringside. Riddle went under the bottom rope and took out Rollins with the RKO to a big pop.

Riddle then caught Omos in a triangle in the ropes. McIntyre and Sheamus helped dump Omos over the ropes to a huge pop. 

Back from the break, it came down to Sheamus, Riddle, Zayn, Corbin, and McIntyre. The fans broke into a "Riddle" chant. Corbin looked at McAfee as he gave Riddle a chokeslam backbreaker. Riddle took over with a Bro to Sleep on Corbin. He followed up with a power slam and draping DDT on Sheamus. 

Riddle went for the RKO, but Sheamus threw him over the ropes. Riddle ended up on the apron but fought back. He climbed up the second rope, but Sheamus hit the Brogue kick to eliminate Riddle. 

Corbin and Zayn worked together on McIntyre. McIntrye moved, and Zayn hit the helluva kick on Corbin. Corbin slipped out under the bottom rope. McIntrye went for the Claymore kick on Zayn, but Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick instead. 

McIntyre recovered and ran wild on Sheamus. He threw Zayn across the ring and hit the future-shock DDT on Sheamus. McIntyre hit the Claymore on Zayn and tossed him over the top rope. Sheamus and McIntrye tried to eliminate each other. Suddenly, Corbin jumped back in the ring and threw them both out to win the battle royal. 

Corbin looked over at McAfee as he celebrated. 

Back from the break, Kayla Braxton interviewed Corbin backstage. He celebrated his win and was so happy he claimed he could fart rainbows. Braxton asked about McAfee's challenge last week. Corbin looked down and didn't speak.

They showed a Ronda Rousey vs. Natalya video package. 

In the back, Megan Morant interviewed Natalya. She mocked Rousey's acting career and said she knows why Hollywood's not knocking on her door anymore. She knows the sharpshooter hurt Rousey. Natalya doesn't care about Rousey's comments. She promised to force Rousey to tap out to the sharpshooter tomorrow night.


They recapped The Viking Raiders attacking New Day and Shanky last week.

The New Day vs. The New Vicious Viking Raiders 

The match didn't end up happening. Instead, the Viking Raiders beat down The New Day again. They referred to the Viking Raiders as the New Vicious Viking Raiders. It was a good segment. 

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods discussed The Viking Raiders interrupting their dance with Shanky last week. The fans booed, but Woods convinced them to boo louder. They mocked the Viking Raiders for being serious, dangerous, and vicious. They challenged the Viking Raiders to come to the ring. 

The Viking Raiders' music hit and made their way to the ring. The ring announcer introduced them as The New Vicious Viking Raiders. Cole and McAfee referred to them by that name as well. 

New Day and the Raiders faced off. Woods pretended to hand over the microphone but dropped it instead. Both teams brawled. The Viking Raiders took over and beat down The New Day with their shields. 


In the back, The Miz, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss, and Ezekiel argued about being in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Each person gave a reason they should be in the match. Moss added that he was just happy to be there. That was a funny line. Pearce ordered a fatal-four way for the final spot in the ladder match. Pearce noted that Kevin Owens is out with an injury. 


Asuka, Liv Morgan, & Alexa Bliss defeated Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans, & Shotzi (13:14)

This was a fine match that dragged at times. It picked up towards the end. 

Cole pushed that this is a Raw vs. SmackDown match. Before the match, Becky Lynch came out to a massive reaction from the fans. She noted she was sitting this match out. They all have to wait until tomorrow to see her in action. Lynch added she's the biggest threat in the ladder match. Instead, Lynch is joining McAfee and Cole on commentary. 

The SmackDown team had the early advantage. They isolated Asuka in their corner and beat her down. Rodriguez went for a powerbomb, but Asuka escaped and tagged out. Rodriguez backed Bliss in the corner and hit a splash. She followed up with a big clothesline. 

Morgan and Bliss worked together against Rodriguez. Morgan caught Rodriguez with a hurricanrana. Rodriguez fought back and dropped Morgan face-first. Shotzi tagged in and kept Morgan on their side of the ring. Morgan fought back, and Shotzi rolled out. 

Shotzi and Evans aruged at ringside. Morgan took advantage and hit a suicide dive. Bliss followed up with a cannonball off the apron onto Rodriguez. 

Back from the break, Rodriguez picked up Bliss, but Shotzi tagged herself in. She tripped Rodriguez, who landed on top of Bliss. Shotzi took over and cut Bliss off from her corner. 

Bliss fought back and attempted a sunset flip. Shotzi rolled through into a Boston crab. Asuka got the hot tag and ran wild. She knocked Evans off the apron. She went for the ankle lock and hit a German suplex for a two-count. Morgan hit the recoil on Shotzi for a near fall. 

The finish came when Evans rocked Bliss with the woman's right. Asuka took out Evans with a back fist. Shotzi knocked down Asuka and posed on the ropes. Morgan took advantage and hit Oblivion for the win. 

After the match, Morgan, Bliss, and Asuka celebrated. Lynch jumped in and hit the manhandle slam on Asuka. Bliss and Morgan just watched as Lynch took off. 


In the back, Sonya Deville approached Adam Pearce. She filed a complaint with management because Pearce put her in a handicap match last week. She said what he did was wrong. Deville then slapped him in the face.


Ask Them Anything: The Usos and Street Profits 

This was a really good segment. The fans were into the segment as well. The Usos and Street Profits were good in their roles.

Kayla Braxton hosted and asked a series of questions supposedly from the fans. Braxton asked the Usos how fearful they were of losing the titles and Roman Reigns' reaction. The Usos mocked the question and noted they're running all the shows. Montez Ford laughed and noted Reigns is the one that runs the show. Angelo Dawkins added the Usos run to the grocery store. 

Braxton asked The Street Profits about losing at WrestleMania. She added that there are rumors that Ford and Dawkins are having problems. They assumed she heard that rumor from dirt sheets. Ford praised The Usos' family legacy. They're going to end The Usos' legacy tomorrow night, and their legacy begins. 

The Usos got in the Street Profits' faces. The Usos admitted they respect them. The Usos did The Street Profits catchphrase and said they want the smoke. The Street Profits responded that they're the ones. 


In the back, Max Dupri was excited to reveal his new clients. He got close to Adam Pearce's face. Pearce noted his segment is next. Dupri was happy. 

They recapped Gunther defeating Ricochet last week.

Max Durpi Introduces New Clients 

This was quite the segment. It went a bit long and dragged at times. Dupri's new clients ended up being Mace and Mansoor with new fashion model gimmicks. They also slightly changed their names to Ma.cè and Mån.sôör.

Max Dupri was standing in the ring under a spotlight. The fans immediately started chanting, "What?" Dupri introduced his first client, the former Mace. His new name is Ma.cè. He walked out on a red carpet and posed as Dupri described him. 

Next, Dupri introduced the former Mansoor as Mån.sôör. Dupri claimed that he found a new love for fashion. Dupri described Mån.sôör's best traits as he posed for photographers. Ma.cè and Mån.sôör came out together and posed again. 


In the back, Megan Morant interviewed Ronda Rousey. Rousey mocked Natalya and promised to defeat her tomorrow night.


Cole and McAfee ran down the Money In The Bank card.

Money In The Bank Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match: Madcap Moss defeated The Miz, Happy Corbin, and Ezekiel (10:33)

This was a fine match. Moss got a big pop for winning and getting the final spot in tomorrow night's ladder match. 

They showed clips of Logan Paul signing with WWE during The Miz's entrance. Paul's looking for Miz. 

All four traded shots at the bell. Ezekiel gave Moss a sunset flip, and Moss gave Miz a German suplex simultaneously. Ezekiel and Moss went back and forth until the heels teamed up. 

Corbin took over after pushing Moss into the steps. He then gave Miz a back suplex on the apron. Corbin turned his attention to Ezekiel and gave him a chokeslam on the announce desk. Corbin and McAfee had a brief staredown. 

Back from the break, Moss was firmly in control and scored a near fall. During the break, there was a tower of doom suplex spot. Moss hit the punchline on Corbin, but Ezekiel broke up the pin. 

Ezekiel went for a cross body on Moss. Moss rolled through and hit a fallaway slam. Miz then hit a running knee on Moss for a near fall. Miz hit the it kicks on Moss and Ezekiel. 

Corbin hit the deep six on Miz for a very close near fall. Ezekiel recovered and rocked Corbin with a jumping knee for a two-count. He followed up with a spinebuster on Moss. 

Miz hit the skull-crushing finale on Ezekiel, but Corbin pulled him out of the ring. Corbin then hit the end of days on Ezekiel and had the match won. Moss jumped back in and threw Corbin into the ring post. Moss then pinned Ezekiel for the win. Moss gets the last spot in the MITB ladder match tomorrow night. 

Moss celebrated in the ring to end SmackDown. Corbin was at ringside near McAfee. McAfee mocked Corbin for winning the battle royal but losing the qualifying match.
