WWE confirms new multi-year contract for Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has officially signed a new contract with WWE.

WWE confirmed today that Reigns has signed a new multi-year deal with the promotion. Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported this Tuesday that Reigns recently signed the contract.

The exact length of the deal hasn’t been revealed.

Reigns tweeted about the news: “@WWE is my home. The @WWEUniverse is family. And I got plentttttty of big fights left.”

Reigns is currently involved in a storyline where he’s twice been attacked by a mystery person. On the July 30 episode of SmackDown, the show ended in a cliffhanger where equipment fell on Reigns. Someone then tried to run down Reigns in the parking lot on last week’s Raw.

When Reigns tried to get answers from him, Buddy Murphy blamed the attacks on Rowan. The angle then continued with Daniel Bryan and Rowan confronting Murphy on SmackDown this week. Rowan beat down Murphy until he would say that he lied about Rowan being the attacker. Bryan and Rowan told Reigns they’ve been conducting their own investigation and will reveal the real culprit next week.
