WWE furthers Seth Rollins-WrestleMania storyline with Vince McMahon ‘meeting’

WWE has revealed a new development in Seth Rollins’ “path to WrestleMania” storyline.

On social media today, Rollins posted a screenshot of a text message from Vince McMahon. The message stated that McMahon wants Rollins in his office for a meeting on Monday morning.

Rollins has threatened that Monday’s episode of Raw won’t happen unless he gets his WrestleMania moment.

The text message from McMahon said:

Seth:

Someone from my office is going to be reaching out to you to set up a meeting at corporate headquarters.

I want you in my office at 9 a.m. on Monday.

Rollins has repeatedly attempted to get a spot on the WrestleMania 38 card in recent weeks. On last Monday’s Raw, he faced AJ Styles in a match with WrestleMania implications. Rollins would have taken Styles’ WrestleMania spot against Edge if he won the match, but Edge interfered and attacked Styles, causing Styles to win by disqualification. Rollins threw a tantrum after the match and issued the threat that next Monday’s Raw won’t happen unless he gets what he deserves.

Monday’s Raw is the brand’s go-home show for WrestleMania 38.

WrestleMania 38 is being held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas next Saturday (April 2) and Sunday (April 3). Rollins’ storyline is expected to result in him facing the returning Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.
