WWE: Sami Zayn injury update
Former NXT Champion Sami Zayn injured his shoulder Monday night while trying to get the crowd going during his ring entrance before his surprise U.S. title match with John Cena at RAW.
He worked the match, even though the referee signaled for the “X” shortly into the match and called for the trainer to check on him. Zayn was pinned following the second rope Stunner and AA.
Zayn is scheduled for an MRI Tuesday. He had been injured and out of action in NXT since April 2.
