WWE SmackDown video highlights: Reigns-Owens war of words

WWE finished building to the Royal Rumble on last night's episode of SmackDown.

Ahead of their Last Man Standing match for the Universal Championship at Sunday's pay-per-view, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens took part in a war of words. Reigns and Owens were in separate rooms for the split-screen interview. Reigns tried to get under Owens' skin by mentioning members of Owens' family, but the interview ended with Reigns turning off his monitor after Owens called him a "community theater version of a mafia boss" and said Reigns was just trying to hide the fact that he's nothing but an insecure bully.

Braun Strowman made his return at the end of last night's SmackDown and looks to be set for the men's Royal Rumble match. Strowman laid out AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Cesaro after last night's 10-man tag team main event. The match originally began as Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles but then turned into a six-man tag match and ultimately a 10-man tag match after the first two matches ended in disqualifications.

Bianca Belair picked up a win heading into the Royal Rumble as she defeated Bayley last night. Belair and Bayley will both be entrants in Sunday's women's Royal Rumble match.
