Impact Wrestling ratings down for Hard to Kill fallout

Impact Wrestling ratings on AXS TV didn't get a bump following Saturday's Hard to Kill pay-per-view.

Tuesday's episode of Impact averaged 147,000 viewers on AXS TV, down from the 161,000 viewers that last week's Hard to Kill go-home show averaged. The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.03. That's down from last week's 0.05 rating.

On the eve of Joe Biden's presidential inauguration, Impact ranked 145th for the night on cable in the 18-49 demo.

Twitch viewership was up from last week, peaking at over 10,000 viewers.

This week's Impact featured appearances by AEW's Private Party, Matt Hardy, Tony Khan, and Jerry Lynn, though they weren't advertised in advance. Private Party defeated Chris Sabin & James Storm in the main event to become the number one contenders to Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows' Impact Tag Team titles.

In the main event of Hard to Kill, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Anderson & Gallows defeated Impact World Champion Rich Swann, Moose & Sabin.
