Reigns, Bliss & Mysterio miss WWE Boston house show

In a correction from today’s Wrestling Observer Radio show when talking about the Boston house show, Randy Orton was there and delivered an RKO to Jeff Hardy after Hardy defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas.

The original correspondent report we got listed that Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, Alexa Bliss, and Orton were all not on the show as advertised. The correspondent later wrote saying that Orton was on the show but this was after we taped.

The others were not on the show.

As noted in the Daily Update on Sunday, Reigns missed the entire weekend. Bliss and Mysterio were on the weekend tour and worked the night before in Hartford, and there was significant interest and disappointment in Boston about Mysterio not being there. No announcement was made at the show and fans didn’t realize he wouldn’t be there until they announced the AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Shinsuke Nakamura WWE title match as the main event.

At this point WWE hasn’t said anything about any of the nonappearances. There was talk on Saturday night that Bliss, coming off an injury in her first weekend back, was hurt again, but that wasn’t confirmed, past the point she was then off yesterday’s show.
