Ziggler vs. McIntyre steel cage match set for next week’s WWE Raw

A steel cage match is set for the New Year’s Eve episode of Raw.

It was announced tonight that Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre will be facing each other in a steel cage match on next week’s Raw. The show is being taped at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan this Friday and will air on New Year’s Eve.

The announcement of Ziggler and McIntyre’s cage match was made during a video segment where Vince McMahon dressed as Santa Claus. It was also announced that John Cena will be returning to Raw and SmackDown and that Women’s Tag Team titles will be coming in 2019.

Finn Balor defeated Ziggler and McIntyre in a triple threat match on tonight’s Raw. Balor pinned Ziggler after hitting the Coup de Grace, and there was a post-match angle where McIntyre taunted Ziggler and got in his face. McIntyre was distracted by the referee trying to stop him from attacking Ziggler, which led to Ziggler then hitting the Zig-Zag on McIntyre.
