WWE Raw live results: TLC fallout, Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles

Monday Night Raw takes place from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa tonight and features the fallout from TLC.

Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles has been confirmed for the show. The match comes after Orton distracted Styles last week, which led to Rey Mysterio pinning Styles and retaining his United States Championship.

Seth Rollins officially joined forces with AOP last week. Rollins and AOP showed their dominance when they beat down Kevin Owens. Rollins and AOP are scheduled to appear tonight.

WWE will follow up on Raw's matches from TLC. Asuka & Kairi Sane retained their titles against Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair in last night's tables, ladders, and chairs main event, Bobby Lashley defeated Rusev in a tables match, The Viking Raiders vs. The O.C. ended in a double countout, Aleister Black defeated Buddy Murphy, and Humberto Carrillo defeated Andrade.

They recapped the Seth Rollins-AOP alliance and Kevin Owens injury angle from last week. 

Raw starts with Seth Rollins making his way to the ring. He introduced the two men who chose to live on the right side of history, The AOP. Rollins claimed when he made his debut, he was labeled the future. It's wasn't just two people that thought he was the future; it was everyone that said it. All of a sudden, the mood changed, and people started to question his leadership.

Rollins pointed out that being a leader isn't about being cool. It's about making decisions for progress. The fans gave Rollins a slight cheer. He noted Kevin Owens had a hard time understanding that. He's the leader, and the people need to accept it. Rollins promised to drag the people into 2020, and if anyone resits, The AOP will take care of it.

Rollins promised to settle a score tonight, but the fans aren't going to like it. He apologized for what they're going to do in advance.

Vic Joseph, Jerry Lawler, and Samoa Joe discussed Rollins and AOP. They wondered about what score Rollins wants to settle. Joe stressed that AOP is very dangerous.

The O.C. defeated Raw Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders In a Non-Title Match

Before the match, Karl Anderson admitted that The Viking Raiders are the most destructive tag team in years. However, they pointed out that they're the only team that pinned the Raiders. Luke Gallows noted they're the best tag team in the world. 

The Raiders isolated Anderson and cut him off from his corner. Erik picked up his Ivar and slammed him on Anderson for a near fall. Erik followed up with a delayed vertical suplex for another near fall.

Anderson poked Erik in the eyes, and Gallows took over. Erik rocked Gallows with a forearm, which sent him to the floor. He attempted a suicide dive, but Gallows caught him with an uppercut. Gallows followed with a fallaway slam into the barricade. 

Back from the break, Anderson was firmly in control with a chin lock. Erik fought back, but Gallows regained control. He slowed the pace down again with a chin lock. Anderson attempted a back suplex, but Erik flipped over and landed on his feet. Erik barely landed on his feet and seemed to fall on his head.

Ivar got the hot tag and ran wild. He missed a splash in the corner and Anderson hit a neck breaker. The heels hit a back suplex/neck breaker combo for a close near fall. Ivar fought back and hit handspring elbows on both Anderson and Gallows. The Raiders followed up with a double suicide dive to the floor. 

Back from the break, The OC was back in control and isolated Ivar. Ivar rocked Anderson with a big boot and made the tag. Erik rocked Gallows with a suplex and knee. 

Erik picked up Ivar and threw him into Gallows for a near fall. Erik knocked Gallows off the apron, but Anderson made the blind tag. Anderson went for a running knee, but Erik caught him with a powerbomb. 

Ivar attempted a moonsault, but Gallows pulled Anderson out of the ring. Anderson knocked Erik out of the ring with a boot. The O.C. then hit the magic killer on Ivar for the win. 

On commentary, Samoa Joe pushed the idea of The O.C. should be tag team champions.

The commentators then talked about Erick Rowan and what's in the cage. During an interview, Rowan talked about loved ones. 

In the back, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson celebrated their victory. Styles promised to defeat Randy Orton later tonight. He told Anderson and Gallows to stay in the back. Styles wants to defeat Orton on his own. 

Erick Rowan defeated Dante Leon

Rowan chased Dante around ringside. He crawled under the ring and got too close to Rowan's cage. Rowan caught him and hit two chokeslams for the win. 

Charly Caruso interviewed Andrade and Zelina Vega in the back. Andrade is competing in a gauntlet match for a United States championship opportunity later.

Andrade promised to win and defeat Humberto Carrillo in the process. 

They showed a Liv Morgan vignette. She's tired of letting people tell her who to be and what to wear. Now she's going to let the real Liv Morgan out. 

Bobby Lashley and Lana Celebration 

Bobby Lashley and Lana came down to the ring to celebrate Lashley defeating Rusev last night. Lana bragged about her "hot, hot" and beautiful boyfriend defeating Rusev. The fans broke into a "Rusev Day" chant, and Lana said Rusev Day is dead. 

Lana wants the world to know how much Lashley loves her. The fans chanted "Bobby Sucks," and Lana screamed that he doesn't suck.

Lana then pulled out a ring and asked Lashley to ask her to marry him. She tried to hand the ring to Lashley, but he doesn't like it when anyone tells him what to do. The fans popped big when he said that. He teased walking away but then admitted that she could tell him what to do. 

Lashley took the ring and got down on one knee. He called Lana the greatest female wrestler of all time, and they're going to be the greatest power couple in the WWE. He then asked her to marry him. Lana said yes and noted he did it just like she had him rehearse. They kissed and walked away. 

Vic Joseph couldn't believe that Lana asked Lashley to ask her to marry him. 

They recapped Seth Rollins and AOP promising to settle a score earlier tonight. 

Gauntlet Match For U.S. Championship Opportunity: Akira Tozawa defeated R-Truth

They showed United States Champion Rey Mysterio watching the match in the back several times. 

Truth came out wearing the 24/7 Championship. Before the match, Truth talked about his childhood hero John Cena. He said Cena's the reason he's a wrestler. He remembered watching Cena's U.S. Championship open challenge when he was a kid.

Truth promised to become the first-ever United States/24/7 Champion. Then he's going to take both belts to WrestleMania. Truth then pointed at the WrestleMania sign, but it's not up yet. Truth wondered where the sign is. The 24/7 Championship rules are not in effect while Truth is eligible in the gauntlet match. 

Truth and Tozawa traded moves back and forth. Truth missed a charge in the corner, and Tozawa hit a cannonball off the apron. Tozawa followed up with a missile dropkick for a near fall. 

Tozawa avoided an ax kick and rolled up Truth for the win and to continue in the gauntlet. 

A bunch of guys came out from the back and chased Truth through the crowd.

Gauntlet Match: Ricochet defeated Akira Tozawa

These two had a fun match. Ricochet gained the advantage with a dropkick. Tozawa recovered and hit two suicide dives in a row. Ricochet fought back and rocked Tozawa with hard chops. 

Ricochet locked on a unique submission hold and scored a near fall. They had a heated exchange of moves. Tozawa attempted a German suplex, but Ricochet landed on his feet. Tozawa avoided and hit a second German for a near fall. 

Ricochet made a comeback and hit a springboard clothesline. Ricochet attempted a standing shooting star press, but Tozawa got the knees up for a near fall. Tozawa climbed to the top, but Ricochet recovered. The finish came when Ricochet hit the recoil for the win. 

Gauntlet Match: Ricochet defeated Matt Hardy

Hardy hit the side effect immediately for a very close near fall. He was firmly in control and hit a suplex for another near fall. Ricochet tried fighting back, but Hardy hit a back body drop for two count. 

Hardy slowed the pace down and worked over Ricochet's neck. Ricochet tried fighting back, but Hardy hit a huge powerbomb for a close two count. 

Ricochet fought back with a rolling dropkick. Ricochet followed up with a springboard clothesline, but Hardy caught him and hit the side effect for a very close near fall. Hardy missed a moonsault, and Ricochet hit a standing shooting star press for another near fall. 

Hardy attempted the twist of fate, but Ricochet rolled up Hardy for the win.

Gauntlet Match: Humberto Carillo defeated Ricochet 

These two had a good match with lots of intense action.

Ricochet was exhausted and sitting in the corner. Carillo approached and offered a handshake. Ricochet shook his hand but rolled up Carillo for a close near fall. 

Carillo sent Ricochet to the floor and followed up with twisting dive wiping out Ricochet. Carillo worked over Ricochet's arm, which Tozawa worked over as well. 

Carillo slowed the pace down and continued to work the arm. Ricochet fought back and attempted a handspring elbow, but Carillo kicked him in the injured arm. 

Carillo went back to working over Ricochet's arm. On commentary, Jerry Lawler asked Samoa Joe if he's ever heard the term "babyface" and that Carillo has the face of a classic babyface. Joe responded the Carillo has some nice dimples. 

Ricochet made a comeback and hit a sunset flip for a near fall. Ricochet followed up with a death valley driver for a two count. 

Zelina Vega made her way down to ringside.

Back from the break, Ricochet rocked Carillo with a hard chop. He followed up with a springboard clothesline and standing shooting star press for a two count. 

Ricochet missed a pump kick and got caught up in the ropes. Carillo followed up with a missile dropkick for a near fall. 

Carillo missed a moonsault but landed on his feet. Ricochet rolled through and hit a big boot.

Ricochet charged at Carillo, and both fell to the floor hard. They teased a double count-out, but both made the count. 

Ricochet charged at Carillo, but Carillo got his feet up. He climbed to the top, but Ricochet cut him off. 

Carillo and Ricochet traded shots on the top turnbuckle. Ricochet won the exchange and hit a superplex for a very close two count.

They traded hard shots in the middle of the ring. Ricochet hit a Northern Lights suplex and rolled through into a vertical suplex for another near fall. 

Carillo attempted a reverse rana off the top, but Ricochet landed on his feet. They had a heated exchanged, and Carillo scored a close near fall. 

The finish came when Carillo hit a moonsault for the win. 

Gauntlet Match: Andrade (w/Zelina Vega) vs. Humberto Carillo 

Andrade jumped Carillo from behind and beat him down. He exposed the concrete on the floor by removing the ring mats. Andrade tossed Carillo into the barricade and continued to beat him down. Andrade then hit the hammerlock DDT on Carillo on the concrete. 

Rey Mysterio ran out to check on Carillo. Andrade and Vega took off through the crowd. 

Back from the break, Humberto Carillo was taken away by medical staff on a stretcher. As medical personal took Carillo away, Seth Rollins's music hit. 

Rollins and AOP made their way to the ring. Rollins was holding a pipe in his hands and approached Rey Mysterio. Mysterio tried to fight them off, but AOP overpowered him. 

Rollins pointed out that pipe belongs to him, and Rollins is giving it back. Rollins is a merciful leader, so tonight is Mysterio's lucky night. The teased walking away, but Rollins came back and hit the curb stomp.

In the back, Charly Caruso approached Seth Rollins and AOP. He explained that he's a leader and leads by example.

The real question is, why didn't he put Rey Mysterio in the hospital. Rollins then challenged Mysterio for the United States Championship for a match next week on Raw. 

Asuka defeated "The Virtuoso" Deonna Purrazzo 

They announced that Kairi Sane was in Asuka's corner, but she didn't stay at ringside and went to the back. Also, they announced Purazzo as being from NXT. 

Before the match, Purrazzo rocked Asuka with a pump kick and sent her to the floor. 

The crowd seemed dead for most of the match. Asuka nailed Purazzo with hard kicks to start the match. Purrazzo made a comeback and locked on an armbar. Asuka rolled through for a near fall. 

Asuka locked on an armbar and transitioned into a kneebar and then into the STF. 

Asuka missed a spinning back fist, and Purrazzo dropped Asuka face first for a two count. Asuka fought back and rocked Purrazzo with rapid-fire kicks. Asuka then locked on the Asuka Lock for the win. 

Charly Caruso sat down for an exclusive interview with Raw Woman's Champion, Becky Lynch. Caruso asked Lynch about the loss to The Kabuki Warriors.

Lynch noted she's not feeling like herself and felt she was put in the tag division to bury her. Then she realized it was to protect her from Asuka. The powers that be don't think she can defeat Asuka. 

Lynch pointed out she hasn't been able to defeat Asuka. She wants to face Asuka for herself and not the company. 

In the back, Rey Mysterio talked about Andrade's actions when he attacked rising star, Humberto Carillo. Mysterio turned his attention to Rollins and accepted the challenge for next week. 

Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles 

Styles backed Orton in the corner and rocked him with hard chops. Orton fought back and attempted the RKO, but Styles avoided the move. Orton recovered and dropped Styles on the apron. 

Styles attempted a springboard move, but Orton pushed him off. Orton followed up with the draping DDT, but Styles reversed into the Calf Crusher. 

Oroton tried to make the ropes, but Styles pulled him back to the middle of the ring. Styles locked the hold back on, but Orton finally made the ropes to break the hold. 

Styles sprinted around ringside and caught Orton with a vicious looking chop block. 

Back from the break, Styles continued to work over Orton's injured leg. Orton fought back and dropped Styles on the top rope. 

Styles went back to the injured knee, but Orton nailed a power slam to regain control. Orton followed up with a backbreaker for a near fall.

Orton set up for a superplex, but Styles slipped out and pulled Orton down. Styles hit another chop block on Orton's injured leg.

Styles hit the Lionsault for a close two count. Styles went for the Styles Clash, but Orton sent Styles to the apron.

Orton hit the draping DDT and set up for the RKO. Styles went for the Calf Crusher, but Orton kicked free. 

Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Orton set for the RKO. Styles stopped from hitting the move but tried for it a second time, and Orton hit the RKO anyway for the win.

After the match, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows jumped Orton. The Viking Raiders ran out for the save, but The OC overpowered them and beat the faces down.
