In addition to CM Punk, another “major name” is expected to be part of AEW Collision.

The first episode of the planned Saturday night show, while not officially announced, is believed to be taking place on June 17 from Chicago’s United Center. Our own Dave Meltzer provided an update on the show in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Meltzer wrote:

The show, believed to be called AEW Collision, as noted last week, is expected to debut on 6/17 with a show from 8-10 p.m. Eastern, from the United Center in Chicago, which would also be the return of C.M. Punk along with what is expected to be either another major name debut or return.

As first reported by Wrestlezone and confirmed by Meltzer, the show is slated to air on TNT. However, there are no plans to discontinue AEW Rampage on the network.

Meltzer continued:

What we have confirmed is that TNT will continue to air Rampage on Friday nights for one hour.
