John Laurinaitis shoot interview RF Video

Controversial former WWE Senior Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis recently took part in a shoot interview with RF Video, the company has revealed. The interview was taped on June 10, 2026 and lasts 2 hours and 48 minutes.

RF Video reveals some of what is discussed in the promotional material for the interview, noting specifically his time in WWE and the ‘elephant in the room’:

“Johnny was responsible for talent relations and has interacted with all members of the company, sharing anecdotes about various significant events. How did he become a television character, and what inspired People Power? What was it like working with John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, and the entire roster? We delved into every aspect of his career. Many will be attentive to this interview due to potential allegations, and we addressed the elephant in the room. Johnny was open to answering our questions regarding it. What was it like being the right-hand man to Vince McMahon, and what were his responsibilities? How did he earn Vince’s trust? We also explored his experiences working with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Laurinaitis was originally fired from WWE in 2022, which was first reported by PWInsider and then independently confirmed by our own Dave Meltzer in the week following.

PWInsider’s report at the time said the dismissal was for “obvious reasons” and kept quiet outside a very small circle of people in the know.

The now-former Head of Talent Relations of course came under fire when he was named in the Wall Street Journal story revealing several allegations against Vince McMahon of misconduct. Bruce Prichard took over in late-June of that year as Laurinaitis was put on administrative leave.
