UK promotion posting recent Pete Dunne non-WWE match for free

Pete Dunne Attack Pro Wrestling

UK promotion Attack! Pro Wrestling has confirmed that they will be dropping a new Pete Dunne match on their YouTube channel for free. Dunne has of course been under contract for WWE for quite some time, and his return to Attack! was an interesting move considering the current state of WWE and the UK scene relationship.

Dunne faced UK standout Leon Cage at the ATTACK! Can You Feel My Heart event on June 19, just a few days before the Los Americanos (Bravo Americano & Rayo Americano) vs LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) match was taped for Main Event at the O2 Arena (on June 22).

Pete Dunne returns to the indies

Attack! was one of the promotions that Dunne worked a lot during his initial UK indies run alongside the likes of Fight Club Pro and of course PROGRESS, where he was elevated to a main event talent before signing with WWE in 2017. This isn’t the only independent date that Dunne has worked this year, with the former NXT United Kingdom Champion having faced Masashi Takeda at Bloodsport XV back in April.

A note on Dunne’s opponent Leon Cage, as he has been a rising name on the UK scene for some time now: Cage is only 19 years old and already getting plaudits for his work in the likes of Rev Pro (where he recently faced Bandido), Attack! and New Wave Wrestling, which started as a South Wales wrestling school run by Brendan White, Wild Boar and Danny Jones, but has now expanded to 4 training schools across Wales, the West Midlands, Cardiff and Toronto, Canada.
