UFC bantamweight fighter Sean O’Malley has made a pretty big prediction for the upcoming Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway fight at UFC 329. Speaking on his YouTube channel, O’Malley revealed that his prediction is a 12-second KO win for the underdog, McGregor.
Sean O’Malley on Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway
“My heart’s telling me, Conor McGregor. My mind’s telling me Max Holloway goes in there, maybe gets cracked early, but at 170 I don’t know if he’s gonna be able to get put away. Conor’s gonna land those big shots; Conor is going to land that left hand…” O’Malley would state in his latest video.
“Guys like Max don’t really care to get hit. That might be dangerous for Max, but it might be dangerous for Conor to try to land that shot and not get him out of there… With all that being said, I got Conor McGregor, Round 1, 12-second KO.”
Holloway by fifth-round TKO or unanimous decision is my prediction for the fight. I’m more leaning towards decision as Max isn’t a one-punch finisher (he’s a volume fighter that will try to overwhelm McGregor), and it takes him time to break someone down. I do expect McGregor to have his moments early, but by round three I think he’ll be chasing shadows as Holloway manages to keeps connecting.
