TNA announces new start time for Lockdown 2026
Next month’s TNA Lockdown pay-per-view will have an earlier start time than originally scheduled.
The promotion sent out an announcement today updating fans in Chicago on the start time for the August 23 event. Lockdown’s main card will now start at 6 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Central, with a pre-show set to begin one hour prior to that. The pre-show will include in-ring action.

- LOCKDOWN UPDATED TIME SCHEDULE:
- 3pm CT: Doors open to the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago
- 4pm CT: Lockdown Pre-Show begins, with matches
- 5pm CT: Lockdown begins
Lockdown is being revived for the first time since 2016. Once a signature event for TNA, the card will consist entirely of steel cage matches.
“Full match card details for Lockdown will be announced in the coming weeks,” the promotion wrote. “Confirmed to appear at Lockdown are Jeff & Matt Hardy (The Hardys), Nic Nemeth, Mustafa Ali, Moose, AJ Francis, Brian Myers, Leon Slater and Ricky Sosa, among others. The TNA Knockouts Division also will be featured prominently, with Xia Brookside, Elayna Black, Indi Hartwell, Rosemary, Allie and others scheduled to compete inside the cage.”
TNA’s Slammiversary PPV at the end of June also had an early start time, with that PPV being moved to avoid direct competition against AEW Forbidden Door and NXT Great American Bash.
