House of Glory announces Shotzi Blackheart vs. Shayna Baszler match for August

House of Glory has announced the next contender for HOG Women’s Champion Shotzi Blackheart—and it’s one of her old rivals from WWE.

Shayna Baszler will challenge Blackheart at HOG High Intensity in New York next month. 

Baszler and Blackheart competed against each other many times in WWE, usually in tag team matches or Royal Rumbles. They have also had a handful of singles matches. The first saw Blackheart defeat Baszler at a GAIN 1 show in Berwyn, Illinois, in March of 2017. The last saw Blackheart defeat Baszler at a WWE house show in Fargo, North Dakota, in March of 2023.

Baszler won the HOG Women’s Championship from Indi Hartwell in November of 2025. She has defended the title five times since then, most recently against Steph De Lander last Month. 

This will be Baszler’s second match for HOG. She debuted with the promotion with a win over Maki Itoh in November of 2025.

HOG High Intensity takes place at Amazura in Jamaica, New York, on Friday, August 7. Tickets are available here.
