Title match confirmed, challenge made for WWE SummerSlam
A new match and a challenge has been issued for SummerSlam.
Chad Gable won a number one contender’s gauntlet match on Monday, earning himself a shot at Penta at SummerSlam in Minneapolis on August 1 and 2. Meanwhile, following an attack on Raw, LA Knight officially issued a six man tag team match for next month, pitting himself, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys against The Bloodline.
Dominik Mysterio started the gauntlet match defeating Joe Hendry, but fell to Je’Von Evans, who managed to overcome Dragon Lee but fell to Rusev. Gable then entered and managed to defeat both Rusev and Ethan Page to advance to SummerSlam, giving him another shot at winning his first singles title in WWE.
Meanwhile, Royce Keys jumped Jimmy Uso following the events of SmackDown as they ended up having a match on Monday that saw Jacob Fatu interfere for the DQ. Solo Sikoa came out and stopped the attack, saying he was here to join the family. He, Uso, and Fatu all posed for the crowd, but it was a ruse as Sioka laid out Uso with the Samoan spike. Keys came for the save but were on the losing end until Knight came out for the save. Once the dust settled, he issued the six-man tag match for SummerSlam.
