Mercedes Mone post fuels rumors of WWE star potentially jumping to AEW
Mercedes Mone recently added more fuel to the fire of a rumor currently doing the rounds. Bayley has been with WWE for many years now, and she reportedly signed a multi-year deal in late 2023. This deal is expected to be coming up soon, with speculation that she might leave the company and jump ship to All Elite Wrestling.
Mone already teased fans with a match graphic for this year’s WrestleDream, showing her vs Bayley/Davina Rose taking place in October 2026. This already got a lot of people talking (with some claiming it was contract tampering), but she has kept up the moment this week.
Mercedes Mone teases Bayley to AEW
The latest tease had Mone posting an hourglass GIF on X, not long after Bayley appeared on RAW in a segment with Lyra Valkyria. Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria is now confirmed for Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend, but the speculation that Bayley could be on her way out is not dying down, and Mercedes is more than happy to get people talking about it.
There’s currently no public confirmation on when Bayley’s deal with WWE expires. But as noted, her last deal was apparently signed in “late 2023,” so that could mean that an October move to AEW is on the cards. Again, this is not confirmed and we will look to try and get an update on this.
