IYO SKY posts image of WWE RAW injury

Liv Morgan IYO SKY WWE RAW

IYO SKY appeared on this week’s episode of WWE RAW; taking on Roxanne Perez from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. SKY is set to face Perez’s Judgment Day stablemate Liv Morgan at SummerSlam, and both she and Raquel Rodriguez were at ringside for the match.

Morgan hit SKY with the Women’s World Championship after the match, and SKY would post the result of that to her Instagram stories, with the caption “Seriously?” SKY has a really visible bruise on her forehead from the hit, which was evidently the result of the belt shot getting botched.

IYO SKY Injury to Forehead

If you look back at the moment of the belt shot, it looks like Morgan gets the timing and distance just wrong, so she ended up lumping SKY in the head rather than just grazing her. The bruise looks really painful, but there’s no indication as of writing that this caused any sort of concussion and IYO is still cleared to wrestle for the next few weeks ahead of SummerSlam.

We’ll of course update on this as it develops, but as of writing, there appears to be no heat on Morgan and it was simply a “zig when you zag” situation that went wrong. It probably did not help that Morgan was wearing very thin high heels during the segment…
