AEW Grand Slam Mexico is set to take place on Wednesday, August 5th from Arena México in Mexico City. According to the latest report from WrestleTix, 5,539 tickets have been distributed for the show thus far, which is up +76 since the last update (from 7 days ago).

A full estimate for attendance right now isn’t possible, as WrestleTix notes: A full attendance estimate isn’t possible at this time, as the balcon (balcony) and gradas (stands) are not visible or countable on the current map – though seats remain on sale in both areas. The venue has a listed capacity of 16,500, with the visible lower level accounting for 6,071 seats.

As of writing, the Cheapest Ticket available (for Standard Admission) is $34.50. For context, the last time the company ran the building was the 6/18/2025 episode of Dynamite, which WrestleTix notes saw 13,000 tickets distributed.

The current year to date average for AEW events is 3,288, so even without the tickets in the balcony and stands sections being taken into account, the show is still well over the YTD average at 5,539 distributed.

No matches have been confirmed for the card right now, but several CMLL talents have been advertised, including Mistico. It’s likely we’ll be able to get a more solid figure of tickets distributed in the weeks ahead, but it is looking like AEW might be able to at least approach the number they got for the event last year.
