Marina Shafir gets opponent for Pro Wrestling Eve debut

Marina Shafir AEW

Death Riders member Marina Shafir now has an opponent for her Pro Wrestling Eve debut.

It was announced this week that Shafir will be part of the card for Eve x The World 2, which is happening in London on the Friday of All In weekend. Eve has now confirmed that Shafir will be facing Aliss Ink, an indie competitor and martial artist known as “The Scandinavian Dragon.”

Ink is from Sweden and wrestles across Europe for Eve, BODYSLAM Wrestling, and more. She was one of the opponents Mercedes Mone defeated during her belt collector tour last year.

Will Ospreay, who has joined up with Shafir and the Death Riders in AEW, helps book Pro Wrestling Eve. This Eve x The World event is being held at Big Penny Social on August 28. The announced card also includes Miyu Yamashita vs. Kay Lee Ray (former WWE wrestler Alba Fyre) for the Eve International Championship.

Aubrey Edwards set for Eve x The World role —

Along with the Shafir vs. Ink match announcement, Eve revealed today that AEW referee Aubrey Edwards will be present at Eve x The World 2 to help out with the officiating.

“Aubrey is beloved by so many talents & fans. To get to have one of the best refs in the game helping officiate the matches will always be a pleasure,” Ospreay tweeted. “Let’s give her a great welcome back Friday 28th Aug”
