Movie starring WWE SmackDown wrestler selected for film festival

Jordynne Grace

A number of WWE’s wrestlers have vanished from programming since WrestleMania season. Fans will have a chance to see one of them soon—not in the ring, but on the big screen.

Welcome to Paradise, a fantasy movie produced by Silent D Pictures and Crucible Films, has been selected to air at the Worcester International Film Festival this September in Worcester, England. Jordynne Grace is shown on the film’s poster and listed as one of the top stars alongside Matthew Horne and Bill Nighy.

The film is written and directed by Richard Summers-Calvert, who also wrestles throughout Europe and elsewhere as Charles Crowley.

“HUGE news as Welcome to Paradise has been selected for The Worcester Film Festival 2026!!” Crowley wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo that shows Grace and other wrestlers. “Worcester Film Festival is a [British Independent Film Awards]-qualifying film festival, so it’s an honour to have the film included in this year’s programme.”

Crowley also wrote the movie’s synopsis for IMDB: “A woman finds herself stranded on an extravagant island of pure entertainment. She knows nothing but her name nor why she is there. To find answers she must navigate this strange place and play its games. Will she escape this paradise or embrace it? For home must be somewhere and she can surely find it, as long as she doesn’t get blinded by the lights.”

Grace is credited as playing “Lisa (Jacked Wrestling Demon Form).” She’s not the only wrestling personality in the cast. TNA’s Harley Hudson plays “Pink wrestling demon.” Stevie Turner, formerly of NXT, is credited as “Demon Vagina (voice).”

Grace joined WWE in January of 2025 and debuted on SmackDown in January of this year. She went on to unsuccessfully challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship and Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. Lately she has been competing on Main Event while struggling to earn a pilot’s license outside the ring.

The Worcester Film Festival takes place September 22 to September 26. Tickets are available here.
