Further details emerge on Sinner & Saint’s departure from TNA
The releases of Sinner & Saint from TNA wrestling last week came as a surprise to some, but apparently not to Sinner & Saint themselves.
A report at Fightful Select states that Judas Icarus and Travis Williams—the tag team known as Sinner & Saint—wanted out.
“Sinner & Saint had asked for their releases and were granted them,” the report reads. “Many were surprised that they didn’t get more opportunities on TNA TV.”
After several years as a team in the United States and Canada, Sinner & Saint debuted in TNA in May of 2024. They were first paired with Josh Alexander, and then after he left the promotion, with Eric Young.
Their last match in TNA was an unsuccessful challenge of the Hardy Boys for the TNA World Tag Team Championships. The match was taped on March 6 in College Park, Georgia, and aired on the March 12 episode of Impact.
Since their release, Sinner & Saint have released a video that explains their nickname and does more to get their characters over than TNA ever did.
