Further speculation on Bayley’s WWE future following Lyra Valkyria comments on RAW
There has been a lot of talk surrounding Bayley and her status with WWE over the past few weeks. While the exact date of Bayley’s contract expiration date is not known publicly, it is anticipated to be in Q4, meaning that she would be able to appear in the likes of AEW, TNA or CMLL from around October 2026, should she decide not to re-sign with WWE.
Lyra Valkyria’s comments on RAW this week added some extra fuel to the fire, with her claiming that she ran Bayley out of the company when she won at Saturday Night’s Main Event: “I’m probably glowing because I dropped the dead weight when I ran Bayley outta here.”
Is Bayley leaving WWE?
Right now we do not know if this means whether Bayley is or isn’t on her way out of the company. The open-ended nature of the finish to their match at Saturday Night’s Main Event (with Bayley the subject of a beatdown by Lyra) means that it could be a way to write Bayley off television for good, OR it could lead to a big return down the line. There’s also the possibility that the beatdown was put together because Bayley is still undecided at her future, so that’s worth bearing in mind.
We’ll try and get more on this in the coming weeks, but right now Bayley’s status is very much up in the air.
