Tiffany Stratton hopes SummerSlam match leads to Rhea Ripley showdown
Tiffany Stratton has learned to navigate the praise and criticism that comes with being a WWE star. She separates the constructive feedback from the negativity while maintaining her confidence.
Stratton expressed handling of the criticism and backlash that comes with being a WWE star on Good Karma Wrestling. She promoted her SummerSlam match for the interim WWE Women’s Championship, and is hopeful that it leads to a feud with Rhea Ripley.
“I would love to work with Rhea Ripley. I think this interim Women’s Championship match is the perfect segue into it. So, I feel me being Tiffy time, Tiffany Stratton, and then winning that title and becoming ‘Tiffy Two Titles.’ And then if Rhea wants a match to try and win back her Women’s Championship, try and win back, she can. I will give her that. And I think that would just be the perfect segue to a me and Ripley story.”
She explained that she tries to separate constructive feedback from unnecessary negativity.
“I’m a public figure, so I have to expect the hate and the criticism. Sometimes, I do take into, what people say and I do take that in and see if I can apply it anywhere. Just having good discernment when it comes to hate and love, if you believe all of the good stuff about yourself, you have to believe all the bad stuff. I just think having good discernment and having a good sense of self has truly saved me because I know who I am. I know I’m a good person at the end of the day and I have good morals and I love my life. So, yeah, I don’t think it really affects me that much.”
While Stratton and Ripley have crossed paths in the ring, they have never been involved in a high-stakes singles feud. Ripley’s knee injury will keep her sidelined for an indefinite period. A five-woman ladder match will take place at the PLE in August , with Jade Cargill and Stratton already confirmed as two of the qualifying participants.
