TNA Impact live results: The Righteous Deletion at the Hardy Compound

TNA Wrestling is back on AXS TV tonight.

The show will be headlined by the Righteous Deletion at the Hardy Compound, with Matt and Jeff Hardy defending the TNA World Tag Team titles against The Righteous’ Vincent and Dutch.

The TNA World Championship will also be on the line as Nic Nemeth defends against KC Navarro.

The first round of the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament continues, with Elayna Black facing NXT’s Wendy Choo and Jada Stone taking on The System’s Alisha Edwards.

TNA Fans! I knew you’d come…

Tonight amid a world title match, two Knockouts TV Title Tournament Matches and The System yelling at nothing we will return to the Hardy Compound to see what the Lake of Reincarnation has in store for The Righteous. It promises to be… WONDERFUL!

But to kick things off:

Moose & Elijah vs AJ Francis & Frankie Kazarian

Last week, Francis and Moose had a match and Kazarian got involved because that’s kinda his thing. So, Moose went looking for a partner to take them both on. He found Elijah. Walking. Francis and Kazarian also teleported to the ring because suddenly, the match was starting.

Elijah and Kazarian kicked it off with Elijah going Undertaker Old School. from there the tags were fast and furious with Francis trying to get ahold of Elijah and Kazarian looking to avoid Moose at all costs.

When Kazarian and Moose frinall faced off, Moose manhandled him with an insiguri. Francis got involved and Kazarian was able to jump Moose with a backstabber.

Francis tagged in and tried a chokeslam, but Moose brushed it off and Elijah came back in. Francis went for the Chokeslam, but Elijah wanted to go Old School again. Francis grabbed him and hit the Cash out to grab a pin in this quick opening match.

Match Result: AJ Francis & Frankie Kazarian defeated Moose & Elijah

After the match, Expressions grabbed Elijah’s guitar and went to hit him with it, but Moose made the save and headbutted him. Elijah nailed him with the Highwayman’s Farewell and reclaimed the only guitar in recorded history to survive a wrestling match.

-Back from break, Mustafa Ali and Order 4 joined us because he’s asking the TNA Roster to vote for who will be the #1 Contender for Ali’s International Title. Anyone on the active roster has one vote and can’t vote for themselves. No word on the validity of mail-in ballots.

TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament First-Round Match: Elayna Black vs Wendy Choo

This is one of two First Round matches tonight and the winner of this bout will go on the Second Round to face By Elegance who defeated Rosemary to advance. Black is the second NXT star in the tournament, with Thea Hail advancing last week. Choo is a former Evolve Women’s Champion.

Also, these tournament matches also have a ten minute time limit and I’m just telling you that for no reason at all, so don’t even think about it. In fact, forget I mentioned it.

They locked up off the top with Black putting a knee into Choo’s gut to take the upper hand. Choo came back with a side headlock and then went off the ropes with a shoulder block to get a two count. Choo hit a dropkick and went for the cover, but Black kicked out and went to the outside.

Black lured Choo to the apron and then dropped her head on it. Black chopped Wendy right in the Choos and then dropped her with a lariat. Tossing Choo back into the ring, Black casually walked up the steps and stomped her next to the ropes.

Black tried a running elbow, but Choo dodged and rolled her up for two. Black wasn’t ready to quit and grabed a headlock on Choo, tossing her to the mat when she was forced to break it. Black succeeded in her next elbow attempt and got a two count.

Choo woke up and started hitting Black with shoulders and lariats. Choo went for the cover, but Black kicked out. She hit a “Choo Choo Big Neckbreaker” or a Full Nelson Slam (I’m not sure which name commentary wanted to use) but Black dodged it. Choo hit her with a DDT, but still no pin.

Black threw Choo in a belly-to-belly but couldn’t get the pin. They started throwing bombs in the middle of the ring until Black planted Choo with a Blackout DDT. Choo rolled out of the ring to recover and Black went up top. Choo rolled back in before she could do anything and gave her an uppercut followed by a superplex.

Black and Choo crawled towards each other and then ding-ding-ding, the ten minute time limit expired. Wasn’t it convenient that someone had recently reminded you of the time limit?

Match Result: Elayna Black vs Wendy Choo went to a Time Limit Draw

Then it was announced that both Choo and Black were eliminated from the tournament because of the time limit draw. That gave Xia Brookside an opening to come down and send Black into the steel steps. Choo tried to help, but Brookside sent her into them too. As a result, M By Elegance gets a Bye in the next round.

-Backstage, various TNA Wrestlers were seen casting their votes to see who will face Mustafa Ali for the International title. There were no legal challenges or recounts requested.

-Back from break, The System systematically sauntered their systemic selves down to the ring. Alicia Edwards grabed a mic and said that Ricky Sosa is just a flavour of the week. Bear Bronson then concurred and said he decimated him and Sosa is nothing more than a meme, while guys like Bronson are killers.

Bryan Meyers then chimed in, assuring everyone of the continued dominance of The System. Cedic Alexander then added his two cents, saying that any one who want’s success in TNA has to go through them. Eddie Edwards went last and said that The System will decide who truly belongs in a TNA ring.

Edwards said that Alicia will win her Knockouts TV Title Tournament Match tonight and it might be the end for Jada Stone.

That conjured Sosa from the back who admitted that he lost to Bronson, but that’s not going to keep the Young Savage down. Edwards said that Sosa turning down the System meant he turned down their protection too. He said no one cares about Ricky Sosa that that brought out Leon Slater.

Slater said that he has Sosa’s back and The System can’t win without cheating and using the damn numbers game. Slater then challenged the system to a tag match RIGHT NOW!

Edwards said that match will happen… next week in Philly. Slater said that’s fine, they are going to win no matter the when or where. Bang Bang Sosa Sosa.

-Back from a break it was time for the votes to be counted and the winner of the vote to be #1 Contender for Mustafa Ali’s International title is… Jason Hotch of the Great Hands! Ali burst into laughter, saying that the vote was obviously a joke. Ali sent Hotch to find out what was going on.

Mr. Elegance vs BDE

This match was an unnanounced TNA+ match, whatever that means, and not the Righteous Deletion we were promised before the break. DELETE!!!

Elegance ran roughshod over BDE off the top, posing and cheating wherever he could. He went for a supplex, but BDE got out of it and hit a Superman forearm and then a clip cutter for a two count.

Elegance responded with a Lungblower, but BDE kicked out of the cover. Elegance threw BDE into the corner, but BDE rolled back out with a chinbreaker and then a splash from the top rope. BDE went for the cover, but M pulled Elegance’s foot onto the ropes.

BDE then grabbed the blind Concierge and Elegance used that to hit a DDT and make a quick pin to remain undefeated in singles matches.

Match Result: Mr. Elegance defeats BDE

-The TNA injury report aired next and don’t worry, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth is still in incredible, no, perfect condition.

RIGHTEOUS DELETION: The Hardys (Broken Matt & Brother Nero) vs The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch)

Last week, The Righteous were invited to The Hardy Compound, and apparently having never seen one of these wild cinematic matches, immediately accepted. Literally anything can happen at the Hardy Compound, up to and including ghosts, reincarnation, teleportation and more.

The RIGHTEOUS DELETION began with Dutch and Vincent walking down the long road to the Hardy Compound. Dutch pushed open the rusty gates and Vincent snapped his fingers and it was suddenly Daytime.

Their arrival woke Broken Matt and he called for Brother Nero to join him in the Dome of Deletion.

The Righteous waited patienly for the Hardys, with Dutch claiming that “It’s not their miracle anymore.” They then teleported to the open field where all four faced off. They started fighting over a large Hardy symbol burned in the grass.

Matt declared that Dutch must be “Deleted on a Dilapidated boat,” but Dutch turned the tide and bounced Matt’s head off the boat. Nero go involved and suddenly Vincent arrived with a Stick of Broom and beat the Hardys with it.

The Hardy’s teleported away while the RIghteous tried to get the boat. They snapped their fingers and teleported to the ring in the barn. Senior Spencer arrived to referee as Vincent went for a pin on Nero but only got two. Dutch took out Matt and the Righteous worked the Hardys over.

Matt fought back with a twist of fate on Vincent and Nero suplexed Dutch. Matt hit a twist on Dutch but could only get a two count. Dutch came back with a Bossman Slam and they both rolled out of the ring.

Matt began beating Dutch with his shoe, but Dutch sent him into the ring post. Then the screen went black to reveal… a commercial break.

Once the Break of Commercial was over, Nero and Vincent fought outside the barn, now in the night time. He punched Vincent so hard, his life started flashing before his eyes. No, really.

Dutch and Matt spilled out of the barn where Matt started biting Dutch. As dutch recoiled, Matt ran away, luring Dutch to the Pool of Swimming. He pulled Dutch in and the scene switched to the Hardys and Righteous sitting around a campfire laughing about some of their past exploits.

Then Dr Wolfie arrived to tell Dutch his partner might not make it. Wolfie said that Vincent was obsolete ad he and Dutch went to a coffin where Vincent was laid out. Suddenly Vincent sat up and jammed some lily of the valley in Dutch’s mouth.

The dream ended to find Dutch in the ring. Matt called for The Hardys to enter and all of Matt’s kids and wife Reby came in and beat up Dutch.

Suddenly Dutch awoke outside where Willow (in an Umaga t-shirt) assaulted him with an umbrella, a baseball bat and other assorted… things, that were lying around. We were then back in the pool as Dutch surfaced, alone.

Vincent and Nero fought on the lawn near the Lake of Reincarnation. Vincent grabbed a large firework and went to shoot it at Nero, but Matt arrived to make the save. They beat up Vincent until Dutch arrived with some Lily of The Valley.

The Hardy’s stood up with fireworks of their own and all four men started shooting them off at each other (kids, do NOT do this).

The Hardys fell and Dutch said it was time to finish what they started. Vincent shoved the flowers into Matt’s mouth and he fell to the ground, foaming. The Righteous then walked the Hardys into the Lake of Reincarnation.

The Hardy’s were then seen in GOAT costumes and Nero said he needed another Goat, so he dove in and retrieved his Willow belt, calling himself Antichrist. They beat up the Righteous and laid them out on two tables before the Mover of Earth. Nero lifted the bucket, crawled to the top of it and hit a swanton onto the Righteous.

He made the pin and Matt declared the Righteous DELETED!

Match Result: The Hardys (Broken Matt & Brother Nero) deleted The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch)

Then, The Hardy’s threw Vincent and Dutch into the Lake of Reincarnation and declared that the Hardys were forever.

-Back from the Righteous Deletion, Hotch approached managment’s office to give them the results of the vote. He was approached by Leon Slater in totally different clothes and he convinced Hotch that it was his time and he should take the opportunity.

TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament First-Round Match: Jada Stone vs Alisha Edwards

Unless there’s another time limit draw, the winner of this one will face Jody Threat, who beat Gabby Forza in Round One to advance.

The bell rang and Edwards bullied Stone towards the ropes. Edwards tried to throw a lariat, but Stone avoided it and hit a headscissor takedown, then some corner uppercuts. Stone hit a moonsault for a two count and Edwards rolled out of the ring to consult with her husband.

Stone leapt off the top rope, and Eddie took the hit for Alisha, who sent Stone back into the ring for a two count.

Back in the ring, Edwards walked Stone around bouncing her head off of turnbuckles until hitting a powerslam for a two count. Edwards then went to hair pulling and choked Stone in the corner. Edwards hit an open palm smack, but that fired Stone up.

Stone caught Edwards with a kick and then a split legged moonsault out of the corner for two. She put Edwards on her shoulders, but Edwards got out of it by raking the eyes. She landed a D-Lish, but Stone kicked out at two.

Stone came back as Edwards walked right into a superkick. Eddie then grabbed her ankle under the ropes, but Stone shook it off and rolled through to pin Alisha and get the win.

Match Result: Jada Stone defeated Alisha Edwards

After the match, Alisha started beating up Stone, but Stone fought back and shot her off the ropes. Eddie caught her though and pulled Alisha to safety.

-Back from break, Hotch rejoined Mustafa Ali and Order 4. Ali asked if he took care of the #1 Contendership and Hotch said that Leon said that the vote should stand. He also said that he talked to his wife and she said he deserved this title shot. Hotch said that with all due respect, he’ll see Ali in the ring next week.

TNA World Championship Match: Nic Nemeth (c) vs KC Navarro

Last week, Nemeth was trying to talk about how great he is, when Navarro interrupted. Nemeth said he could have this match as long as he promised to “leave him alone forever” when Nemeth won. So this might be the first “Loser Leaves The Other Alone Forever” match in wrestling history.

After introductions (and a Break of Commercial), the bell rang and the two sized each other up. Nemeth started talking smack and slapped Navarro. Narvarro responded with a superkick and quick pin, but Nemeth kicked out at two.

Navarro ran through a few quick pin attempts before Nemeth caught him with a back elbow and then choked him on the ropes. Nemeth went to throw some strikes in the corner, but Navarro fought his way out. Nemeth then kicked out the surgically repaired knee of Navarro.

Nemeth peppered Navarro with strikes and shot him off the ropes, but Navarro countered with a headscissor takedown and a flurry of offence for a two count. Navarro left the ring to regroup and Navarro dove onto him before sending him back into the ring.

Navarro then hit a frog splash, but Nemeth kicked out. They fought until Nemeth sent Navarro to the outside with a baseball slide. He bounced Navarro’s head off the apron but Navarro came back and returned the favor.

Nemeth went back to the knee with a hard kick and rolled into the ring, looking for a count out victory. Navarro made it back in just in time though.

Nemeth then put a sleeper on Navarro and presumably held it through most of the commercial break, since Navarro fought out of it when we came back.

Nemeth splashed Navarro in the corner, danced, then went for it again. Navarro moved though and Nemeth crotched himself on the turnbuckle. Navarro powered up and threw a dropkick then some corner work of his own.

Navarro took Nemeth down with a modified… something and got a two count. Nemeth tried to throw a superkick, but Navarro dodged it. Nemeth sent him into the corner and tried and handful of trunks, but Navarro kicked out.

Navarro then somehow hit a powerbomb on Nemeth (!!) but the champ kicked out at two.

Navarro tried to find some life in his knee, but Nemeth went for a powerbomb. Nevarro counterd and they traded pin attempts. Then Navarro hit Nemeth with a Fame-ass-er but again, could only get a two count.

Navarro charged Nemeth but ran right into a brutal superkick. Nemeth made the cover, but Navarro kicked out at 2.5.

They got to their feet and Nemeth asked “why won’t you die?!” Navarro answered with a dropkick, a 305 and then a Code Red. Navarro went for a Blessing in disguise but Nemeth countered it into a Danger Zone and made the pin to retain his title.

So, now, Navarro has to leave him alone, I guess. Do you think that works on telemarketers?
