Adam Cole participates in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Adam Cole has taken the ice bucket challenge.
Cole, whose career in pro wrestling is currently on hold following a concussion, was nominated by Britt Baker when she did her own ice bucket challenge last week. He nominated Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish before taking the plunge.
Supporting Rebel
The ice bucket challenge went viral in the early 2010s to support ALS research. It’s recently gone viral again, this time in the pro wrestling scene in support of former wrestler Rebel, who was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year after a series of medical issues. Wrestlers who have participated in the challenge include Sting, The Young Bucks, Dustin Rhodes, and Luke Gallows, among others. Rebel appeared in the video with Baker when she took the challenge.
Cole has been out of action for just about a year, dealing with a concussion that took place shortly before All In. Tony Khan said that it would “have to be the right situation” in order for Cole to wrestle again.
