WWE

WWE has reportedly filed to trademark a new wrestling name.

The trademark made on July 24 under serial number 50011873 is listed for performances and covers entertainment services related to wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer. The filing also includes appearances rendered live, through broadcast media such as television and radio, as well as via the internet and commercial online services.

There is no confirmation on who the intended name is for or whether it is connected to an upcoming debut or a WWE star’s rebranding. However, users on social media are speculating that the name trademark could be linked to NXT’s newest addition, Mike Santana. While no official indication of the connection, WWE has a history of securing trademarks ahead of major character developments, new ring names, and talent introductions.
