WWE Raw notes: Otis injury angle, Ryan Garcia aligns with Judgement Day
Notes from Monday’s Raw in Los Angeles.
Early in the night, Bron Breakker and Austin Theory defeated Alpha Academy in a non-title match, with Bron spearing Tozawa for the win. After the match, both members of The Vision continued to attack Tozawa. Otis made the save and went to the turnbuckle when Maxxine Dupri distracted him. This gave the opening for Theory to make a comeback, with him and Breakker giving Otis a double chokeslam. Theory ended the segment by propping up Otis’ head against the steel steps and slamming it with a steel chair.
Later in the night, Byron Saxton told Theory in an interview that as a result of the attack, Otis would be out of action “indefinitely.” Logan Paul acted concerned about what Theory did, but it was quickly revealed to be a ruse as The Vision laughed about Otis’ demise.
A boxer joins the Judgement Day
Ryan Garcia, who currently holds the WBC welterweight title, made a surprise appearance on Raw, playing a guitar during Joe Hendry and Danhausen’s musical concert. But Garcia’s true colors soon became evident as he blasted Hendry in the back with the guitar. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh then ran in and beat down both Danhausen and Hendry as all three men celebrated.
