AEW Dynamite live results: Fallout from Redemption
AEW Dynamite is live tonight from the Motor City.The Wednesday, July 29, 2026 edition of the show is set for the Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit, Michigan.
Scheduled for the show, Willow Nightingale will celebrate winning the AEW Women’s World Championship after defeating Thekla at Redemption in Montreal.The AEW World Trios titles will be on the line as The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong defend against The Demand’s Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.
Just days after defeating Hikaru Shida for the title, Maya World will defend the TBS Championship against CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone.
New AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo will also put his title on the line, defending against Jack Perry and Nick Wayne in a three-way match.
Jon Moxley will defend the AEW Continental Title against Komander
Speedball Mike Bailey & Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) will take on The Don Callis Family trio of AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage & Jake Doyle
Plus, we will hear from AEW World Champion Kenny Omega following his win over Kevin Knight at Redemption and the post-match angle involving Will Ospreay.
Renee Paquette will also sit down with AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage and The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson.

AEW Dynamite comes on MyAEW briefly with Tony Khan introducing The Insane Clown Posse to a big pop and then Justin Roberts said they’re going live in 50 seconds before the screen goes black. The show officially comes on the air with Excalibur welcoming us alongside Taz & Tony Schiavone as they run down tonight’s card. We see footage of the Death Riders, pissed off, regrouping backstage after what transpired after the main event on Redemption. Jon Moxley is screaming for Ospreay to strike Omega before he does first and we then see Omega lay out Ospreay with One-Winged Angel. Moxley said that took what, 3-minutes? Moxley has been trying to tell Ospreay for months that Omega is not his friend, he’s trying to eradicate Omega and wanted Ospreay to see that for himself, but it’s not over yet. Now, Will Ospreay might be the best wrestler in the world, with nothing to lose, truly on Death Ground.
Renee Paquette is backstage and approaches Ospreay power walking into the arena. Death Riders are waiting for him (minus Claudio Castagnoli) as Moxley walks up, Daniel Garcia goes to break the tension, but gets waffled with a Hidden Blade. Moxley holds back PAC and asks if Ospreay is sure he wants to do that? Ospreay said Moxley doesn’t get to pull the trigger for him and gives back the Death Riders patch, saying he’s out. Moxley says it looks like he has it all figured out, as they all step aside, with Moxley helping up Garcia.
Paquette walks back in to get a word, but Hangman Adam Page appears, saying he knows what it’s like to be in Ospreay’s shoes, thinking he has to do this alone, but it’s not what this roster let him do last year. Page said the World Title isn’t something he’s focused on anymore and offers help if Ospreay needs it. Ospreay says the United Empire boys hate him, he can’t trust Kenny, so he can’t trust Page. Ospreay goes to leave, but Page tells him he’s one of the best in the World, Ospreay just needs to know it, as he’ll go to Wembley the best he’s ever been or he’s going to die, which Page said he’s kidding, he knows Ospreay has this. Ospreay thanks him and walks away. Intense start to Dynamite, with Page giving Ospreay his endorsement.
Andrade El Idolo vs. Jungle Jack Perry vs. Nick Wayne for the AEW National Title
(What a sprint this was, as all three got in plenty of offense and had the Detroit crowd locked in from the opening bell. Andrade is crazy over right now and commentary talking about the Casino Gauntlet at All In would make a perfect time for him to earn a World Title match. Meanwhile, Perry & Wayne have been working together in matches lately and I’d love to see that feud pick up and get Wayne on AEW TV more consistently.)
Bell sounds and Perry blasted Andrade, making it immediately a singles match with Wayne & himself. Flying uppercut and kip-up by Wayne, as Andrade recovered, getting a double suplex on both. Snap hurricanrana sent Wayne flying, as Andrade struck a pose in the ropes, as Perry baseball slid under him into a cazadora bulldog on Wayne, but Andrade flew in with a slingshot cross body to take Perry out before taking a photo with a lovely fan ringside. Wayne stopped that momentum with a Sliced Bread off the guardrail before going after Perry back in the ring. Everyone starts throwing clotheslines until Andrade successfully followed with the Three Amigos. Andrade played to the crowd and ran into a Wayne Spanish Fly, but Perry flew in with a Shotgun Dropkick into a full reset heading to break.
Wayne & Perry fight up in the corner, as Andrade flew in with a kick and hung himself up in the process, which was a little awkward. He got back on track and powerbombed Wayne before joining Perry (the fans chant “Take Your Pants Off” which would be very difficult while standing on the second turnbuckle). Wayne cut them off, allowing Perry to hit a diving hurricanrana on Andrade off the apron, as Wayne flew in with a Tope Destroyer to rightful “Holy Sh*t” chants. Springboard splash back in on Andrade, followed by The Prodigy-Plex, only Perry broke the count. All three start throwing thrust kicks, until Andrade takes out both men, turning them inside out with a double clothesline for the triple down. With Perry up in the corner, Andrade popped-up Wayne into a hurricanrana on Perry, who flew off into a Tornado DDT on Andrade. Wayne was spiked with a Poison Rana, as Perry followed with two Tope’s, Somersault Suicida and capped it off with a top rope Moonsault onto the pile in a crazy sequence.
Big time Liger Bomb back inside on Wayne for two, as Perry signals for the Sacrifice Knee, but Wayne side-steps, Andrade pops Perry to the outside and planted Wayne with a How You Know spinning neckbreaker. Frog Splash missed, as Wayne got the knees up and followed with a Phoenix Splash, but Perry leapt in with the Sacrifice Knee. Signaling the title is his, Perry charged right into the Andrade spinning back elbow. Wayne got a school boy on Andrade with his feet on the ropes for two, as both popped up and Andrade hit The DM to put Wayne away.
Post-match, Tony Schiavone got in the ring and asked how Andrade is feeling, which he said he feels Tranquilo because he screwed MJF (kisses the Dynamite Diamond Ring), screwed Don Callis (points to the National Title) and says he’ll be the best National Champion ever. Schiavone brings up the recently announce Casino Gauntlet at All In and next week in Grand Slam Mexico, they’ll determine the #1 position, asking if that’s something Andrade is interested in? Andrade has one question, How You Know?
Match Result: Andrade El Idolo defeated Jungle Jack Perry & Nick Wayne to retain the AEW National Title
-The Brawling Birds are backstage and says Divine Dominion talk too much, both are undefeated and the champs have been avoiding them far too long. They issue a challenge to any of three members of the Minions in Training (Athena, Billie Starkz or Diamante for those who don’t watch Ring of Honor) to face them on Collision. Alex Windsor says whenever they see Megan Bayne & Lena Kross, it’s time to brawl.

-Renee Paquette is backstage with the Don Callis Family, as Kyle Fletcher brings up not losing his International Title at Redemption, unlike other Family members (looking at Kevin Knight). Callis said they took some L’s, but Mark Davis is angrier than he’s ever seen him and can’t wait to see what he does next. Callis said Knight said he didn’t need The Family and look what happened, we all learn our lessons. Knight said he’ll appreciate the little things and mentions Mistico, while saying Fletcher could be in trouble with Speedball at Grand Slam Mexico. Fletcher said the International Title will never leave The Family, as Kazuchika Okada walks in, saying he’s right, the title will always stay in The Family before leaving.
Don Callis Family (AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage & Jake Doyle) vs. Speedball Mike Bailey & Brodido (Bandido & Brody King)
(Your party match of the night that really kicked into gear after the commercial break. It’s not a surprise that Bailey got the win heading into next week’s rubber match with Fletcher for the International Title at Grand Slam Mexico in what should be a MOTY contender, I’m sure. I said this after Bandido’s loss at Redemption, I hope Brodido head back to the Tag Team ranks, as even though they are incredibly great singles, they do so well as a duo and it’s been a while since we’ve had a good run again from them in the division.)
Callis joins commentary, as King started off mowing down Fletcher with a shoulder tackle, so Fletcher fired off a forearm and tackled King into his corner, allowing Doyle & Cage to hit a double suplex. Taz said competitiveness in The Callis Family is a good thing and Callis said he agrees, as King broke free and the babyface trio hit locomotion corner clotheslines on Fletcher. Doyle & Cage were mowed down with a King running cross body, sending them outside, where Bailey & Bandido just stared at them, I think everyone anticipated a dive, but it never happened. Fletcher was turned inside out by a King lariat, as he avoided a Bandido dive, tried a suplex, which was countered into an impressive slow deadlift suplex. Corner punches connect, as does an enzugiri on the apron, but Cage blocked a shot from the floor and powerbombed Bandido into the post as we head to commercial.
Bandido was isolated the entire break, as he ultimately connected on a wild pop-up spinning DDT on Fletcher. Cage made the save, but Bandido avoided Drill Claw, tagging King, as the “Meat” chants are out in full force with King hitting locomotion corner clotheslines on Cage & Doyle before squashing them with a Cannonball for two. Cage spun out of a Gonzo Bomb with a jump knee, but King threw a wild lariat for the double down. Bailey tags in, misses a standing moonsault double knee, as Cage hit a Buckle Bomb and fast tag to Fletcher. Overhead release German from Cage, Torture Rack backbreaker from Doyle and charging knee from Fletcher got a near fall, as Brodido made the save. Double spinebuster on King, as Bailey got a jackknife cover on Fletcher for two, as they trade fast counters and roll throughs until Bailey hit the moonsault double knees. Fletcher ducked a high kick into a Lawn Dart, charged, but Bailey was ready with a roundhouse kick for the double down as the fans went nuts.
Doyle & Bandido in, as Doyle ran right into a Gorilla Press and Frog Splash that followed, but Doyle no-sold, rolled through into a massive bodyslam and body tackle. King in with a discus lariat, Cage in with a massive F-5, Bailey pops Cage with a roundhouse kick, but Fletcher in with a flush kick of his own. Fletcher slid outside, as Bailey connected with a huge springboard moonsault. Back inside, Bandido got Doyle in position for a 21-Plex, but Doyle swatted him before takeoff. Bailey made a blind tag and hit an Ultimate Weapon right as Doyle went to powerbomb Bandido. Bailey followed it up with a flash pin, stunning Doyle and especially Fletcher, who failed to make the save in time.

Renee Paquette Sits Down with Christian Cage, Adam Copeland & The Young Bucks
Paquette is excited to finally say that Copeland & Christian vs. The Young Bucks will finally happen at All In. The Bucks are anxious thinking about this, planning the trip with their family to watch this happen, never thinking this match would ever happen, saying it’s an honor, Cope & Cage revolutionized tag team wrestling. Copeland said The Bucks also did just that, he’ll say it and says for too long, tag team wrestling has been shoved to the side, but teams like both of them & FTR have made sure that’s not the case. Cage said with all sincerity, they didn’t come back to do a retirement tour, they’re here to prove they’re the best tag team of their generation and The Bucks generation, also saying he’s glad their wives are coming to Wembley.
Matt said they’re on their second leg of their careers, while The Bucks are still on their first, as when they win those titles, they’ll be the most decorated tag team in AEW history. They’ve been down at rock bottom, clawing their way back to the position they’re in. Copeland said they lost their careers between them for 17 years, not winning a tag title for 25, so he understands what Matt is saying, but don’t play the comparison game. Matt said they’re legends who have done it all, but nothing will stop them from winning those titles. This won’t be Kobe at the end of his career scoring 60 points; Cope & Cage will be lucky to get on the board at Wembley. Cage said it sounds like The Bucks are trying to talk themselves into it, as a lot will change when the music fades and The Bucks stand across the ring from their heroes. Cage isn’t downplaying The Bucks career and to be the greatest, they have to beat them in London.
Paquette asks why this would mean so much to Copeland & Cage, as Copeland says despite everything they’ve done, there’s still doubt. Matt said there’s always a chip on their shoulder, always told they’re too tiny, too small, don’t have the machine behind them. Cope & Cage might be bigger, but they’re The Young Bucks. This was a shockingly civil sit-down from both teams and rather refreshing it didn’t end in an insult-fest or brawl.
Maya World vs. CMLL Women’s Champion Persephone for the TBS Title
(I enjoyed this match more than the Redemption TBS Title change, as Persephone did a solid job controlling a good portion, while World mounted a comeback with the crowd loudly behind her. I wish she would’ve won clean instead of the outside stuff from Shida & Statlander, but hopefully World gets more title defenses under her belt as the reign goes on.)
Renee Paquette is on the stage during World’s entrance, saying she’s only been here 6-months, but told Paquette earlier today that she’s got the ball and doesn’t plan on dropping it. Even start from both, as both trade Matrix’s to escape charges, as Persephone picked an ankle into a roll-up for the stalemate. Charging uppercut from World, who side-steps a Persephone charge to the outside. Cartwheel off the apron to the floor, World missed a high kick, as Persephone perched her on her shoulders and planted World face first on the apron heading to break.
Persephone remained in control, locking in a Half Crab and ankle lock, but World got a rope break and rattled off a series of near falls. World rolled through a waist lock into a double stomp to fully regain control, flying with a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Persephone fought out of the bridging Fall Away Slam into a standard version of her own, sending World outside, where she met her with a Tope Suicida. World avoided a powerbomb, countering into a Tornado DDT using the apron, as they quickly go back inside. Cazadora is blocked by Persephone, who hit a Rainmaker variation to turn World inside out. Big time German Suplex connects, but World kicks out and Persephone is losing her mind at referee Aubrey.
That delay allowed World to get a double stomp from the corner and double jump moonsault, but Hikaru Shida runs in, throwing the kendo stick to Persephone before distracting referee Aubrey. Before Persephone could swing, Kris Statlander appeared and took it from her, as Persephone walked back into the bridging Fall Away Slam from World to retain. Post-match, Statlander raised World’s hand and held the kendo stick, as Persephone was furious
Match Result: Maya World defeated Persephone to retain the TBS Title
-Mark Davis is backstage furious, saying he’s going to do something about it and calls out Will Ospreay. The only reason Ospreay beat him last time was due to Death Rider interference, so he issues a challenge to Ospreay at Grand Slam without The Callis Family, vowing to leave him broken.
Willow Nightingale’s AEW Women’s Title Celebration
Renee Paquette introduces the new AEW Women’s Champion and we get pyro, huge streamers and massive standing ovation for Nightingale, who is left in tears of joy saying this is all still surreal. This is what people dream about and is grateful they’ve been with her, despite there being doubters along the way. People would look at her as too quirky, chubby or weird and just not get it, but this past year she’s apparently made the fans very happy. This past year she’s become ½ of the first Women’s Tag Team Champions, beat Mercedes Mone for the TBS Title, got hurt, but what pulled her out of a dark place was her mom, who told her she could stay down or you can fight. Nightingale fought to get into the Casino Gauntlet, then a Toxic champion in Thekla to win the big one. While she loves the love, if life has kicked you around, don’t you dare give up, keep fighting and pushing through because sometimes the comeback is even better than the dream.
Mercedes Mone’s music cuts off what was the Babyface of the Year promo as she comes to the ring with a contract in hand, getting booed loudly. Mone said she didn’t come out to ruin her celebration and demands Nightingale signs the contract for All In, now. Nightingale signs it on the chest of Mone, who shoves it in Nightingale’s face and Paquette announces it official. Nightingale asks what Mone’s problem today, 5-seconds everyone didn’t give her all the attention or is it because she remembers Nightingale beat her to end her TBS Title reign? Nightingale thinks it’s that she has the one title Mone just can’t win. Mone says what she hates the most about Nightingale isn’t her stupid smile, the fans adore her, it’s that every milestone, her name is written on Mone’s story. Nightingale is holding the one thing Mone is destined to hold (Mone is getting booed out of the building and the crowd is chanting Shut The F*ck Up) as she says she’ll end Nightingale’s fairytale at All In; she’d be nothing without Mone. She demands Nightingale admit that Mone made and elevated her and she’ll take that title and smile off her face.
Both ladies get in each other’s face until Divine Dominion appears and Mone chop blocks Nightingale. Kross & Bayne lay out Nightingale with the double chokeslam, as Mone holds up the AEW Women’s Title, until The Brawling Birds hit the ring and make the save.
