Vince Russo addresses Triple H’s booking: ‘Worst creative in the history of the WWE’
Former WWE writer and JCW’s [Juggalo Championship Wrestling] co-owner Vince Russo is not a big fan of Triple H’s WWE creative booking.
Recently appearing on Talk is Jericho with Chris Jericho, Russo described and explained why Triple H’s current creative run is the “worst” one in the history of the promotion.
“Bro, this is the worst creative in the history of the WWE. This is worse than Stephanie [McMahon]… ‘Cause Triple H is the politician. Triple H is in the seat and now we’re seeing what Triple H can do. And let me tell you something, bro. What Triple H can do is not pretty,” Russo claimed while addressing Triple H’s WWE booking style.
Triple H has been in charge of the promotion’s creative since Vince McMahon stepped down in 2024 after allegations of sexual trafficking emerged against him.
Triple H believes people take WWE ‘too seriously’
Last month during his interview on The Stephen A. Smith Show, Triple H shared a message to the WWE universe and claimed that people often take things in WWE too seriously.
“The other aspect of that is, I think that people lose perspective of sometimes, is we’re just fun. We’re fun,” he said. “And sometimes people take it too seriously, sometimes people get too caught up in it. But it’s there to entertain, man. There’s a lot of stuff going on in the world. If you just want to turn off for a couple of hours and tune into something cool that you can just lose yourself in and have a good time, WWE is the place to do it. And if you’ve never seen it live, I’m telling you, come to a live event, come to one of our PLEs, come to a TV, there’s nothing like it in entertainment.”
