WWE moving Triplemania night one to bigger venue

WWE has announced a venue change for night one of AAA Triplemania 34.

Night one of the event is still scheduled to be held in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11, but it’s moving to a bigger venue. After previously being scheduled for the Luxor Hotel & Casino, the show will now be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena. WWE cited “unprecedented demand” for the change, with tickets for the Luxor already having sold out.

Those who already purchased tickets will soon receive more information from WWE. Additional seats are going on sale to the general public next Tuesday (August 4) at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

WWE wrote:

  • To meet the unprecedented demand for the first-ever two-night, two-country Triplemanía this September, lucha libre promotion AAA today announced that the previously sold-out Friday, September 11 event scheduled for Luxor in Las Vegas will now be held at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event date and start time will remain unchanged.

MGM Grand Garden Arena’s wrestling history includes hosting events from WWE, WCW, and AEW, including AEW’s first-ever show Double or Nothing 2021. WWE Money in the Bank was held at the venue in 2022.

Triplemania night two set for Mexico City —

Night two of Triplemania is taking place from Arena CDMX in Mexico City on Sunday, September 13. The full cards for the show have not been announced, but we know Dominik Mysterio will be defending the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano. Plus, a new AAA Latin American Champion will be crowned after El Hijo del Vikingo had to vacate the title due to injury.
