Update on if Solo Sikoa is expected to remain a babyface in WWE
Solo Sikoa’s babyface run was initially expected to be a short-term move, but that might not be how everything ultimately shakes out.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported Thursday that Sikoa was only supposed to be a babyface on a short-term basis. However, there is said to be speculation within WWE that those plans could be reconsidered because of how well Sikoa has been received in the role.
The report notes that one talent described Sikoa as “one of the funniest superstars behind the scenes.” The source added that they were thrilled Sikoa is getting a chance to show off his personality.
Our own Bryan Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X last week that he had been told Sikoa is considered “the funniest dude in the extended family.”
Alvarez wrote:
“As bizarre as babyface Solo is, I’m told he’s legit the funniest dude in the extended family, so hopefully that shines through at some point”
Sikoa is scheduled to team with Royce Keys and LA Knight against Jacob Fatu and The Usos at SummerSlam.
