TNA’s Elijah says working with Vince McMahon in WWE was like a challenge
Current TNA wrestler Elijah and former WWE Superstar Elias has recollected his experience working with Vince McMahon back in the day.
A part of the WWE roster from 2014 until his 2023 release, Elias was one of the most popular names on the promotion’s main roster. Wrestling under the names of Elias and Ezekiel, the former WWE 24/7 Champion found his way into the indies before signing up with TNA in 2025.
Recently, during an interview with Studio 1 Sports Channel, Elijah opened up about his time in WWE and how it was working with McMahon.
“I just love wrestling, and I love performing. And so when somebody gives me a challenge, and that was really, I’ve got to say, under the Vince [McMahon] era, that’s really what it’s like. It’s like you’re going to be given something. It is what it is. Now it’s on you to make that something,” he said.
Elijah is currently in a rivalry with A.J. Francis on TNA television and defeated him at TNA Slammiversary 2026.
