Will Ospreay says Tony Khan is getting his ‘money’s worth’ with him
Officially All Elite since 2023, Will Ospreay believes AEW President Tony Khan is getting his “money’s worth” with him.
During a recent episode of Under The Mat With Simon Miller, the question of Ospreay residing in England and travelling to the USA was brought up. Host Simon Miller even jokingly asked if Ospreay was “scamming” Khan with the flights and travelling.
However, the former AEW International Champion denied the scamming allegations and further added that the five-star matches from Dave Meltzer have “definitely” helped him secure his contract with AEW.
“You just fly everywhere constantly,” asked Miller. “Are you just not trying to build up air miles? Are you scamming Tony Khan?” However, Ospreay responded with, “No, I’m not scamming Tony. He’s getting well his money’s worth out of me. Come on. I mean, look at all the killer matches I’ve done for him. Look at all those five stars, Dave Meltzer definitely pays for my contract.”
Ospreay and Miller further continued to joke around about his status as the leading five-star contender, before comparing him with Mario [the video game character] about collecting stars. Ospreay currently has over 55 matches that have reached 5*+ from Dave Meltzer.
Ospreay is currently scheduled to face Kenny Omega at AEW All In 2026 in his hometown of London, UK.
