Tony Khan does ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in support of Rebel
After being challenged by Sting, Tony Khan has taken on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in support of Rebel (Tanea Brooks).
The Jacksonville Jaguars — owned by the Khan family — shared video of Khan’s Ice Bucket Challenge video today and promoted AEW’s Rebel Heart fundraiser. That fundraiser includes a special episode of Dynamite in Athens, Georgia on September 9, where AEW will be making a donation to I Am ALS and the Team Gleason Foundation.
Khan challenged Jaguars head coach Liam Coen and executives James Gladstone and Tony Boselli to also do the Ice Bucket Challenge, which was a viral social media trend in the 2010s but has come back in recent weeks to raise awareness and funds for ALS research. Rebel and NFL legend Chris Johnson have both helped the trend return during their respective battles against ALS.
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a progressive disease that attacks the nervous system. Though she knows a cure won’t be found in time to save her life, Rebel is determined to do everything she can so future generations do not have to face the same fate. She’s partnered with I Am ALS, which is a patient-led advocacy group.
Rebel herself is set to make an appearance at the September 9 “Rebel Heart” Dynamite episode.

Rebel & Britt Baker Waiting Room reunion —
During this difficult time, Rebel has been able to see just how much the wrestling world loves her. Her friends Britt Baker and Gail Kim are two people who have been by her side.
