UFC fighter Allan Nascimento passes away at 34 years old
A UFC flyweight fighter has passed away.
The company announced on Monday that Allan Nascimento, 34, has passed away after suffering from an apparent heart attack.
“This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep,” UFC announced in a statement. “Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan’s family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
Allan Nascimento’s MMA career
Nicknamed Puro Osso, the Brazilian fighter started his MMA career back in 2011, defeating Thiago Silva via submission. He trained at Chute Boxe alongside the likes of Charles Oliveira. He won a fight for Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018 and began regularly fighting for the company in 2021. His most recent fight took place at a UFC Fight Night event on June 20, where he lost to Mitch Raposo via split decision.
Overall, Nascimento had a career record of 22 wins and 7 losses and a UFC career of 4 wins and 2 losses.
