Released WWE performer makes appearance at indie streaming on MyAEW
Recently released WWE performer Jeff Cobb made a surprise appearance at the latest PRODUCE Wrestling event this week. Cobb appeared as part of the Dollar King Of New York Royal Ranbo Match, which was eventually won by Jonathan Gresham.
Cobb was released from WWE back in April, so his 90-day non-compete has now lapsed. PRODUCE is of course one of the indie promotions that is streaming on the MyAEW platform, so Cobb likely would not have been able to appear for them until the non-compete was over (this has been the case for streaming competitors to WWE for some time).
