Report: WWE Senior Vice President ‘quietly’ departs company
A Senior Vice President-level employee reportedly departed WWE recently.
PWInsider reports that Patrick Dooley — who worked for WWE since 2018 with his most recent job title being SVP of Global Strategy & Creative Operations — “quietly” departed WWE in July. His exit came at the same time as several others departed WWE due to budget cuts. The PWInsider report notes that Dooley was essentially Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s “number two” on all matters outside of creative.
Before joining WWE, Dooley worked for software company CA Technologies and management consulting firm Oliver Wyman. He has an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from The Wharton School.
Dooley was hired by WWE in 2018 as Director of Global Strategy and eventually became VP of Global Strategy & Corporate Development. He rose to SVP of Global Strategy & Creative Operations in December 2023.
While with WWE, Dooley was involved in matters like AAA securing its television deal with Fox Latin America.
“We are very excited to partner with FOX, a brand that shares our vision of innovation and entertainment,” he was quoted as saying in a 2025 press release. “This partnership will elevate AAA to new audiences and take Mexican sports entertainment to another level.”
Dooley has not yet updated his LinkedIn page to reflect his departure from WWE.
